Reviews on Pub food in Mendoza, Province of Mendoza, Argentina. Known best for its wine, Mendoza is a bustling city to the east of Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Western Hemisphere. Although it draws its share of adventure travelers, lured by the climbing, skiing, hiking and rafting opportunities within an easy drive of downtown, the area’s more than 1,000 vineyards bring oenophiles in even greater numbers.

They had about 8 beers on tap with a wide variety of styles. The Scotch Ale was very good but the porter was mediocre. The food was much better than expected. I had a cheesesteak style sandwich and my wife had a pizza. Both were very good.Service was ok but not friendly. We arrived at 8:00 and you could only sit inside. We left around 9:00 and there were few seats anywhere.

After several days of wine tasting , I need to change it up. Chachitaâs was just the place. Small place but a great variety of drinks and bar food. I sat at the bar since I was alone. Best place to talk to the bartenders and see your drinks being made. I asked the bartenders, Martin and Marcelo to give me fresh and different drinks. Started off with Dean Martin- bourdon , Old Cuban- Rum and Besoquito - vodka. Last was Marcelo Mai Tai-delicious.I came back to Chachitaâs three more time and tried ever more different drinks. The food was good and fresh, Maru manages to restaurant part of the business and sit right a the bar ( very cute). All the staff was friend and willing to talk with a solo traveler. Thanks ( Maru, Marcelo and Martin ) for a great time and conversation.

My husband and I went here but only had drinks after we saw a waiter have a very large sneeze over someone's meal prior to serving. They were out of most if the beer choices and the service was slow and inattentive. There did not seem to be any pride or care in the service.

It may not be listed because the Beer Garden is also the owner's residence.
We visited the beer garden twice while we were in Maipu. We really liked the atmosphere with the friendly neighborhood dogs, homemade wooden furniture and interesting cover songs. The free popcorn was fantastic, they have menus in english, and the beer, pizza and empanadas are pretty tasty. Great bathrooms and outdoor seating make this place a total win.

Barijho is the first beer garden in Mendoza, since 2014 established in Chacras de Coria.
Went here for a quick beer before dinner. Expensive, tacky, run down - don't bother. The music is loud and the toilets appalling.

Bowie is a gastropub and music bar at the city of Mendoza. Emplaced in an old town house with great atmosphere, Bowie offers live shows and DJs nigths. Cocktails are our specialty, but great wines and beer are also available. Burgers, "chorizo sandwich" a
This bar with a restaurant is in the location where Ocho Cepas used to be, just a block from the Park Hyatt hotel. Cool bar with crafted cocktails which seems to be the trend in Mendoza right now. If you like mojitos, gin and tonics, cosmos, you can get them here along with pretty good food. I wouldn't go here just for dinner, but for a drink and light meal its a good choice.
