Manly Greenhouse takes its name and cues from the free-spirited culture and natural beauty of the coastal suburb. Comprising three distinct levels; a casual street level bar offering approachable all-day dining, middle level refined grill restaurant, and
What a find! The Grill restaurant on 1st floor of Greenhouse is great. Well priced food, lovely cocktail menu and helpful professional staff. What a treat to see carpet on the floor! Plus the fact that Tables in the main are well spaced meant that our group of 6 could converse without shouting at each other! This is very unusual in Sydney. Worthy of 5 stars for this attribute alone. Started with a mandarin and lychee Bellini, entree of octopus, shared a generous shoulder of lamb, and finished with a rhubarb soufflé. All top class. Thank you Greenhouse.

Nice people very friendly running this place. Not on the main street, but a busy little street. One should go the extra few metres and try it. I had the burger and thoroughly enjoyed it.Thanks Denis

Beach side Café, Restaurant and Bar. Seafood focus but a wide variety of dishes. Broad wine list and specialty cocktails
We are from Melbourne and spent a week in Manly recently. We only ate in Manly once and this was at Manly Wine. On the whole our experience was very enjoyable at Manly wine though I can understand some of the comments on service and wine prices. Service was a bit slow for a quiet night and staff hard to find when you wanted something. The wine could have been better also for the price asked. Food was good but also a bit on the expensive side for what it was. Decor and ambience were nice at night when it is quiet rather than a busy lunchtime in Spring or Suimmer I'm sure.Thank you for your feedback John! We are continually striving to improve our customers' experience and appreciate the review. We would love the opportunity to chat further about your visit to Manly Wine - please contact [email protected]

When this place first opened the food was great (albeit the service wasn't). It has gone dramatically down hill and I find it hard to believe that its actually ran by such an established restaurant group (Rockpool).Visiting around 2pm on a Friday, few tables were occupied. The margaritas were sloppily made (very little salt rim, and the bartender spilling as he served them). The food took a long time to arrive, and when it did one of the dishes lagged another by 5 mins. The food was tasty, however the portion size has reduced and dishes are now served in small baskets instead of plates. A large number of tables went uncleared for the best part of an hour after our arrival (see photos). There were several staff on duty, however little work was being done - multiple staff including a chef and a waitress spending significant time on their phones. The toilets were not clean, with one of the urinals blocked.

Came here for dinner at about 8:30pm on a Thursday night. Went upstairs for dinner, joining about 2 other tables. The bistro menu states itâs open âtill late.â Went up to order our meals and was greeted by two very rude waitresses who were too busy talking to take our order. After weâd completed the order she snapped that she needed to see ID (to order food?). Went to get cutlery etc for our meals and it was all packed away. Had to ask one of the waitstaff who couldnât find any cutlery either. One meal came out 20 minutes before the rest, the other two meals came out luke warm. Food was average, but prices remained high. Wouldnât recommend, shanât be coming back.
