This is a cute little "hole in the wall" restaurant with great food and big hamburgers. This establishment does not accept cards so you do have to use an ATM machine and the one that's in the restaurant charges like $3 and they do allow smoking inside so its not exactly kids-friendly.
We enjoyed excellent food & drinks on a Saturday night. The food was unique and very tasty with nice sized servings (the salad was plenty big to share). We also enjoyed the kabobs, but I would go with all veggies next time, because they were the best part. They apparently change hummus flavors weekly ... the chipotle hummus for Cinco de Mayo was fantastic and the Naan chips were perfectly seasoned ... and how can you go wrong with a warm chocolate chip cookie for dessert.
We are an indie movie theater and restaurant. We show films in our cinema and serve food in the pub from 11am until 9:30pm Wed-Sat and 11am until 7:30pm on Sundays. Our food is always freshly prepared from quality ingredients and made to order. We stock a
After reading on the website that they offered keto options I was anxious to try it. I finally settled on one item on the menu that wasn't loaded with sugar if I ate it on lettuce and there were no sides available that I could eat. Our meals were served on paper and there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table. And no wait staff. I wouldn't call this classyThanks for trying Bookhouse. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. I sent you a message so that you could let me know it there was another issue to cause such low marks other than the dietary restrictions and that we are a casual pub with counter service. We are still a new business and we strive to maintain high standards for quality and communication. We may not be your kind of place, but we still value your feedback. We have recently added new options to our menu which is always updated and posted on our website. If you happen to try us again, we'd love to know what you think of the additions.

The food was not worth what was paid. The sushi roll was tiny. Wine served was flat as though it had been sitting out for days, and the staff seemed reluctant to correct the problem. After dinner was over, our server, Pan, came and approached our friendâs date, chastising them b/c no tip was placed on the credit card receipt. Pan apparently assumed no cash tip would be paid. All this took place while we were still sitting in our seats. It was difficult to understand Pan, so I asked another server what was being said. She explained the tips were split with the chef, and if a guest did not tip, the server would be forced to pay the chefâs gratuity out of their own pocket. This aggressive and completely inappropriate confrontation nearly led to no tip being left. However, a cash tip of more than 15% was left. With other great dining options in town, it is unlikely we will ever return or recommend this restaurant.

Every time I'm in Joplin I always go to Applebee's for their Half Price Appetizers. The Won Ton Tacos are fantastic! I also like their brisket quesadillas. I didn't like the cranberry margarita. Too sour! The servers are friendly. The restaurant is clean.Would definitely encourage you to eat at this restaurant!

Finn's hosts a sophisticated atmosphere and serves gourmet food and hand crafted cocktails.
Gorgeous decor and cozy space really impressed us. Friendly waiter and excellent pre-dinner drinks. Waiter was brand new and needed to go ask someone to get answers to our basic questions. What we ordered didn't quite match what we were served. I ordered the Blackened Snapper and I received a generous piece of breaded snapper. My husband ordered steak with blue cheese topping and when it arrived, he was informed that they were out of blue cheese. Had he known earlier, he would have changed his order. Table service was lacking with goblets, glasses, empty plates not removed until the very end of our meal. The waiter confirmed that my husband would receive a complimentary dessert but the bill didn't reflect that. In summary, Finn's needs to work on menu accuracy and improve table service.

We stopped in for lunch Saturday afternoon when a very large party decided to stop in as well....probably 30 people. The staffing was not adequate, but I think thatâs understandable when you get surprised with 30 people. Three girls out front and staff in the kitchen. I have never seen people remain so calm while working so hard. They moved fast, requested our understanding and commenced to provide a great meal service. The seemed to immediately realize they needed help and more staff was called into assist. The whole time they were polite and kept thanking us for stopping in that day. Most impressively was the food was amazing (I had the fish tacos, kids had the chicken), they keep the dishes and glasses picked up AND the beer was served cold. The bar has a great atmosphere and a cool outside seating area. They have a wide variety of beers on tap and a full bar. I donât know when we will be back to Joplin, but when we return weâll be stopping in again. If I could give this place six stars I would!

It doesn't look like much from the outside. And the inside looks like an older drive in. But the food is not standard drive in food. The fried mushrooms appetizer-the best I've had. My wife had the salmon sandwich on sourdough bread with bacon, and grilled asparagus. I had the bison burger and fries. This place was a great find. Great service-the waitress was very helpful deciding what to order. Not the cheapest place in the world. Around $40 for the two of us, not including the tip. But worth every penny. Glad we found this on TripAdvisor.
