Had an excellent time at our "local", the staff made us feel very welcome and the atmosphere and ambience was spot on. Fully recommend the pizzas too, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to Wayne, Charlotte, Marlin and Sara for making us feel at home at, in my humble opinion, the best bar in Bergen

We're two Belgians visiting Bergen and very eager to taste Norwegian craft beers. We're so happy we found this great pub on the day we arrived, it became our daily beer stop during our whole stay in Bergen.54 different craft beers on tap ! Need to say more ?I've tasted some really, really nice beers from Norway. Also, the pub is very cozy and friendly. There's no background music which makes for a very nice atmosphere.Definitely worth a visit (or ten) !

This rock burger cafe comes highly recommended by the locals and itâs easy to see why. Great atmosphere and amazing burgers, even if you opt for the low carb, bunless version.Thank you very much for the nice feedback. It's always good to be recommended by the locals

Brian Boru is Norway's only Irish-owned, Irish pub! You'll find this authentic Irish pub in the heart of Bergen, close by to the famous Fishmarket. Come by for hot food, a great selection of beer on tap, live music, live sports and as we would say in Irel
On my last day at Bergen, I came across this pub while looking for a place to grab a beer in central Bergen. After finally finding a pub named after me (nevermind that they spelled Bryan with an "i"... I still like to think that my name is written on the front door!), I knew I had to go in. And I'm glad I did!The atmosphere is that of an authentic Irish Pub: austere-but-cozy wood furniture lavishly decorated with Irish-related items. There were coats-of-arms hanging on the walls, flags, and even some rugby decoration. A large TV screen broadcasts the best sports matches going on â which, on the lazy July evening that I visited, happened to be darts. The friendly atmosphere was further enhanced by the great bartender Niamh. She does a great job of keeping the place friendly and welcoming. She knows how to encourage conversations between strangers who are looking for a nice chat. I tried a few of the local craft beers before ending the night on Guinness and I must say that everything Niamh recommended was great. The prices are also pretty good â or as good as possible considering how expensive Norway is...Sadly, I haven't had the chance to try the food, but if I ever come back to Bergen this will be top of my list.Bryan can hardly recommend Brian enough!

A rock cafe with the most interesting choice of hamburgers in town - the Hangover Burger, the Triple Decker, Dr. Feelgood, the Hobo burger and Norway's biggest burger, the Suicide Solution tickin' in at 1,8 kg (3,97 pounds). Burgers with attitude! Welcome
We are in Bergen for the first time and were hoping to catch some live music but we are on a tour and have an early wake up call tomorrow. So instead we just decided to have burgers for dinner. Thereâs definitely some interesting combinations here. We both ordered the smallest hamburger they sell and it was plenty big. My husband ordered the special burger of the month which was a spicy teriyaki burger. I ordered the cheeseburger. The burgers are interesting as they have cucumbers on them vs the American way with pickles. The potato wedges are outstanding! We love onion rings so we ordered a side of those as well. Those were good too. So no music but a good dinner with a beer hit the spot!Thank you for the visit at Inside Fløien Rock cafe :-)

Stopped in after a long train ride from Oslo and checking in to our Airbnb nearby. Simple menu with very good food, and a great selection of beer. Bartender was helpful and friendly, and there's a neat story to the odd-shaped building. Easy walking distance from the Bryggen, but in a quiet local neighborhood.

The name "Naboen" means neighbor, and this is just what the Naboen Pub & Restaurant is, a friendly and inviting place to eat and drink. Hospitality is job one here, and the Scandinavian kitchen, staff and culinary tradition are representative of Norway. T
Naboen is a wonderful contemporary Norwegian restaurant. Itâs a little off the tourist path, so it feels a little more authentic and catering to locals than some central Bergen restaurants. But itâs still just a short walk from Ole Bull Plass and Torgallmenningen. Prices were reasonable by Bergen standards and the food was excellent. Particularly good at our table were the moose and the monkfish. Both were expertly prepared and delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Very happy we chose to eat here!

This is a nice little spot centrally located along the water. We only wanted sandwiches..... I got the shrimp, hubby (surprisingly) got the BLT. Both were pretty big and were delicious. They did not have unsweetened ice tea, but our waiter mixed up a really good drink that is his favorite. It was hot and we ate inside. Place was busy, waiters running. Prices a bit high but I guess they are in general. (Roughly $35 for 2 sandwiches.) Excellent , friendly service.
