A really great experience! A couple owns this restaurant, he makes wine and she's a sommelier, so the menu is gueared towards a great experience with great award winning wines. They have a pizza oven where you can order a steak pizza which I love, many pasta dishes, their octopuss is divine... In all, a great dinning experience, I highly recommend this place

Authentic Italian cuisine prepared by an authentic Italian chef...Gianluca makes some of the best pizzas in Tijuana (especially like the Bambino, a French Fries pizza, if you can believe that!) Pastas are exceptional, too. This restaurant is up on the hill across from the University but he's about to open another branch nearer to town center. This trattoria is well worth the detour off the main drags to enjoy what delicious Italian food is all about.

An artist was there putting finishing touches on the mural in the stairway leading up to this kind of chaotic atmosphere of kegs being scooted around and fashionable patrons (gringo and Mexican alike) lining up for their beer and pizza. It seemed like everyone was ordering pizza. We took our own little tour of the place: there's a stage for live entertainment, a large outdoor seating area overlooking the street, a brewing area, and a back room where they serve mezcals. The place seemed alright enough. So, completely ignoring the alcohols (this time), we thought we would give the food a try.I ordered a mushroom dish- cuz that's my thing, and my boyfriend ordered a three cheese burger with fries. His food arrived well before my sautéed mushrooms. I ended up eating most of his fries while waiting. When my food arrived at last, I was confused. They'd foofed the order? Oh the poor cooks! This one particular dish did not have cheese and they must have been in a rather cheese happy autopilot mode. The cheese laden shrooms were taken back, the menu was reviewed and things were sorted out.By the time I got to eat the food I ordered, the triple cheese burger was already long gone- as my boyfriend found that to be very tasty. I was satisfied with my food, but I'd definitely have to give this place another try before really warming up to it.

We were not expecting Italian, the name does not sound Italian, but, it was Italian and it was very good. The pasta was delicious, the pizza excellent and the tuna carpaccio outstanding. The service was excellent. I very much recommend this restaurant.

I will be very honest. Everyone I know LOVES this restaurant! Some for the SangrÃa preparada, others for their pizza or pasta frita. The place is very cozy and you can have a romantic dinner or a fun one with friends. I do like the food and the service. But maybe I am a bit too picky when it comes to Italian food. My friend say is the best in town but I have my doubts. I seem to be the only one.

Neapolitan brick oven pizza. More than 40 different pizzas from the classic margherita to the original "spicy shrimp", fresh salads, authentic pastas, grilled fish and meat, delicious sandwiches, full bar and extensive wine list. Great place to hang out.
They offer a wide variety of oven cooked pizzas. The salad We always have is the Griega (Greek) it is hilarious. Also, the pastas are creamy, tasty and always hot and perfectly cooked. For drink I recommend the Sangria, it is cold with deep citrus flavor and a balanced amount of red wine.

I found the food to be all around good at El taller. I especially liked the beets with goat cheese. The pizzas were also good and the service was attentive. My only complaint is that the wine list is quite limited especially in terms of good wines from BC but in the end we just went across the street to the liquor store and paid the corkage fee.

Sadly, fewer Americans are crossing over from San Ysidro/San Diego to Tijuana these days for many reasons. But....if you're doing so, consider eating at Giuseppis right of Calle Revoluccion. The menu is varied, indoor/outdoor seating available, immaculate throughout, and the food is affordable and good. Provencha!!
