Offenbach's central market square features lots of restaurants offering high quality food. The Pizzeria am Markt is close to that market square, just half a block down - and the magic of Wilhelmsplatz is already totally absent.The place does not look terribly inviting, mainly because the neighbourhood does not look terribly inviting. The service, though very friendly, is definitely more amateurish than it is in the many restaurants around Wilhelmsplatz.The food was fine. Decent pizza. Nothing you would dare serve to an Italian though. Prices are low, so it's not a bad option. Just don't ever take guests here that you are trying to impress.

After almost 6 weeks travelling Europe (not in Italy) we sought a genuine Italian meal ,and it was delivered over luncheon in Frankfurt!The decor of this Offenbach restaurant is interesting in that it js very attractive with large chandeliers in the main rooms with lavish padded seating. Almost the in between of a brasserie, although there was no sidewalk dining, but not quite full a la carte elegant dining - anyway it suited us as attractive.The menu is extensive and offers traditional Italian fare . The choices we selected was the Caprese salad , which was shared, as a starter.We followed with mains of the Pork medallions , one with the mushroom sauce , with croquettes and salad, and one white wine sauce , with chips and salad.All meals were well cooked and tasty. The salads were very generous and we could not finish.The wait staff advised us on our wines, by the bottle (white wine) and glass (red), and we were very happy with the selections.The service was very attentive, friendly and helpful in advising of the menu and wine selections.Overall, a great Italian interlude with good food , service and wines in a friendly and comfortable environment. Recommended.

Schickes Ambiente, guter Service und gute Küche. Ein bischen hatte ich den Eindruck, man kann sich nicht entscheiden ob man eine Pizzeria oder ein schicker Itlaiener sein will. Es gibt Nudeln mit Trüffel, Fisch des Tages war Wolfsbarsch oder Steinbutt, aber man kann auch eine einfache Pizza kriegen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut daher für mich: Dauem hoch!

Super restaurant. Food was lovely and super nice. I can only recommend this place Food came quick and the servers were very gentle. I will eat there, as soon as Iâll be back in Frankfurt.

You'd be forgiven for walking past this back street Italian but once you're inside its a different story.Quaint little restaurant with pizza oven in viiew. Both ordered pizza and in no time were presented with our authentic specialities. So big I only managed half but the jolly waitress offered to package the other half...supper taken care of Seems to be a big hit with office workers out for a quick bite for lunch. I recommend!

Trattoria i Siciliani requires patience but it is worth the wait. A very busy small trattoria with a real buzz. The staff know their business. There is an excellent wine list and the food offering covers all tastes and is efficiently constructed.

What a wonderful eatery. The food is in great portions and the vino is excellent. This is a place where many of the young locals eat, quite trendy and they certainly know good value. Great place to eat in Frankfurt when you are tired of sausage and sauerkraut.Grazie mille! See you soon!
