If You are a fun of Italian pizzas, pastas and âgelatoâ Manufaktura Marcello is a place to visit. Original Italian cook using proper ingredients and skills creates meals which could be used as benchmarks for many Italian masters. A rather relaxed atmosphere makes You feel at home. Me and my friend we were walking by this little pizza & past restaurant, so we decided to stay for a meal. The best thing is that the staff speak very good english so there was no problem to make an order. Very quick service, i have tried pizza with italian parmaham and ruccola very good, also I have tried a bit of fresh pasta with wiled mashrooms delishied. We will be coming back to this lovely place, I do recommend !

A new-ish place when we visited in Summer 2017, I think (the online listing was for another restaurant). Its a really stylish building with a lovely courtyard area with open kitchen, in what appears to be a bit of an up and coming area of Katowice. There are a few hipster places in the area. The food was perfectly OK, but didn't quite live up to the promise of the menu or of the surroundings. Perhaps it will settle down once they've been open a bit longer

Do not be fooled - the waitress can deceive you. First, she will tell you that you will need to wait 20 minutes for a meal, and then did not even come to say that the kitchen needs more time. 45 minutes of waiting for a burned pizza?!? In my opinion, the restaurant is badly managed, if it comes to such a situation and no-one is able to say the word "sorry" without asking for attention.

I was looking forward to some downtime with a pizza and a carafe of wine; Basiliana could offer me a table with a limited time: 19:55 when I arrived to 20:45 when they had a reservation - fair enough, I was happy to agree and was pacing myself accordingly. The pizza was OK, verging on quite good, and the wine was fine. However; at 20:30 they told me the reservation group had arrived and I had to leave. They were obviously friends of the staff, so I was simply chucked out early...Unless you are a) Polish and b) friendly with the staff, I suggest you avoid this place. The food isn't anywhere near good enough to compensate for the unpleasant attitude.

I have been impressed each time I have visited this place! One of my favorite restaurants not only in Poland but in all of Europe!! Food was excellent, choice of wines superb. On top of it all there is live piano being played most days. Allow this for a modest price. Visit this place, you won't be disappointed. Five stars!!

Second time Iâve visited. Excellent pizza again. I travel on business but when not needing to dine formally with colleagues this is an excellent option. Fantastic pizza, good service
