The food is really good and internal design is modern. However the staff is polite but snobby. Didn't create a right impression

The Italian restaurant and pizzeria, La Taverna, in Divonne-les-Bains, is a promise of good food, fine wines and pleasant moments to share with family, friends or colleagues. In a welcoming setting, the chef offers a colorful and gourmet Italian cuisine.
While most of the restaurants were closed in the city & this one was opened. Arrived at 1930, no need reservation but later, the restaurant was filled up.Excellent food, big portion, the fresh pasta with seafood was visually & tasted good. A bit disappointed with the filet beef, it had the surrounding chewing meat coming together. Normally filet is only the heart of the meat! The Sicilien Cannolo was not often served in any restaurant but this one got it. Very crunchy but the type of cream inside was not exactly the same as in Sicily & I suspected the chef forgot to put in any sugar. The 2 staff were very friendly & we were quite early, so food was served efficiently.

The restaurant DIVINO'S welcomes you in Ornex, in the Pays de Gex, in a modern and warm setting to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, colorful and tasty. We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. A relaxed and family atmosphere, two beautiful bright rooms
Although the welcome is warm and service quick and friendly, the fish dishes we ordered were clearly not fresh, the chips were obviously frozen, the vegetables tasteless and overcooked and the wine mediocre. And for all this, we paid far too much.We certainly will not be returning.

We thought we'd pop down on a Friday night to this newly opened spot. We were greeted warmly and found the menu okay, if a little predictable, but it's just a neighbourhood pizzeria, so... The starters came pretty quickly and they were huge. My husband's bruschetta was enormous, but not very traditional, being on flat bread and with a creamy mozzarella and tomato topping. He enjoyed it though. I had the warm goats cheese on toast. It came with a very big salad. The cheese was good, drizzled with honey, but the toasts were basically charcoal. Frankly, I'm amazed it was presented at the table. I left the four black discs on my plate, and when the waiter/owner collected it he said nothing. Hmmmm. By now the place was really filling up, and there appeared to be only two people at work - the chef and the waiter. Unsurprisingly, it took a really long time for our mains to arrive. Husband had entrecôte, which arrived about 15 minutes after my pizza. It was a big steak, poor trimmed but cooked perfectly - rare and tender. It came with excellent vegetables and a morilles sauce, and fries that were not homemade. My pizza, also big, did not have the advertised aubergine, but courgette, and the minced meat was bloody. The egg in the middle was completely raw, and extremely unappetizing. I have to admit though that the flavours were great. This place made some big errors. It needs to sort staffing, obviously, to cope with demand. With my starter overcooked and my main undercooked, better quality control needs to take place in the kitchen. And yet it was good enough to try again, maybe in a few months to see how they've settled into their stride.

Simple small Italian restaurant with generous portion of food. Most of the time easily got the table without reservation & it opens when others are closed.Food is always good, never been disappointed. They put someone to play music during the weekend, nice effort but it could a bit "loud"

Doing a tour in the zone of all the restaurants and we tried this "italian" restarant.Arrived at the entrance and nobody greeted us. We entered a little bit more and were seated at our table. We received our menus and discovered another mixed french- Italian- Portuguese restaurant this time as of something like LaVilla of the night before. The waiter took our order and sent it out to the kitchen and the we took a look at the wine list. Which was not updated.Choose a syrah wine after having to change two times our wine order because they were not in stock.Entrees were mixed salami, ham and cheese platter with mixed grilled vegetables. Very dry ham and salami and veges no taste. As we finished the waiter arrived with our mains but the table still had our sharing plates and entrees.Linguini with clams, pizza siciliana and pizza funghi were our mains.Pasta was a generous portion costing 25⬠but over cooked(15m) or precooked not well mixed with the pasta resulting very dry and no taste or seasoning( 2 cherry tomatoes and no parsley)Pizzas overcooked on one side and raw on the other with no taste and the Siciliana having canned tuna which is not on the original pizza.Service was messy with the server during water in front of us. And did not know which limoncellos or amaro were on the menu.Tiramisu ok. Paid 129⬠in three with wine and one dessert

Came with friends for a quick pizza.Ordered three gourmet pizzas and three small tap beers. The house offered us some small tapas while we waited.Pizzas arrived. Classic napolitan. Good ingredients. Service is a bit noisy and there is a door always slamming near the bar.Paid 60⬠with one dessert.A little expensive for the quality and service.

Don't go here expecting classic, Italian style pizza. It's more like home made pizza you would make with your children. Actually doesn't taste bad but not too refined with an overload of cheese.Service is friendly, prices are reasonable so no problem there.
