Manager, Bryce, refused to acknowledge the mistake she made with an order. Ultimately wanted to charge us more than our online price because of her mistake. Refused to chat with us or discuss the situation. We ended up leaving without our pizza due to her nastiness.

Decided to try this pizza after reading article in the local paper. We arrived about 5 pm on a saturday night. There were only a couple of tables with other patrons, although they seemed to taking more pick up orders. We saw the sign telling us pizza required a 30 minute wait. We figured 0k- supposedly its worth it. You have to pay for the pizza when ordering. We also ordered a half pitcher of rootbeer. It cost 27 dollars for a medium pizza and the half pitcher. We were going to pay with credit card but found out there is a 2 dollar extra charge for using credit. We then said we would pay cash - which caused a fair amount of confusion for the cashier who apparently can't make change. We waited 50 minutes - and in that time watched a couple of pick up orders go out the door. Finally went back to counter to explain we had waited much longer than 30 minutes. Young woman who had placed our order went into kitchen to "check". I could see discussion and much walking back and forth with her and the cook - but she did not bother to come back out until I caught her eye and gestured that I wanted an answer. Turns out they had packed up our pizza and sent it with one of the pick up orders. She said a new one would be ready in 10 minutes. We told her if not done in 10 minutes we would want a refund. And of course after 10 minutes it was still "almost ready - just another 5 minutes.." So we said we wanted a refund and left.We understand that mistakes can happen. But at the point they realized they had made this mistake - I would have expected an apology and some kind of compensation on the bill - neither of which happened. The attitude seemed to be you're upset - so what. In fact, the older staff person who gave us the refund could not even tell how much we had paid because there was nothing written on our bill and then when we told her the amount she proceeded to subtracted 3 dollars for the rootbeer - since of course we had drunk most of it in the hour we were waiting for this pizza. Never again.

Stopped for drinks on a Friday night and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bar tender/owner was very friendly and gave great service! TV's were well positioned for watching Friday night sports and the music was great. A nice hang out with friends for drinks and games!

This place looks a bit on the sad side on the exterior.... but it's a really wonderful spot for enjoying VERY cold beer and fabulous pizza. If you prefer thin crust, then this is your place!! Nice selection of draft beers and lots of pizza toppings from which to choose. (And they make their own sausage!! yum!) We'll be back...

Thoroughly enjoyed food and staff. Great burger and fries served in reasonable amount of time at a good price. Nice selections on menu. Will return. Highly recommend for informal dining.

Went for dinner at 4:45 pm, sat on deck, first time visit. My wife ordered BBQ pork sandwich and I ordered Broasted Chicken. No bread served with dinner, just stale crackers and breadsticks. Plates arrive after my salad of old greens, 2 cherry tomatoes and I think bacon bits?, not sure. My wife said her sandwich was okay, fries good, my chicken was a different story. Half chicken was severely over done, smelled burnt and all the breading was dark and greasy, did not eat wing, some leg was edible as was the thigh after peeling all burnt taste off, breast was okay but greasy. Server asked how meal was and I told her it is burnt, greasy and really not that good, she was going to kitchen to investigate. She comes back and TELLS me they forgot to change oil night before and NO mention of would you like something else, a drink, dessert? Paid bill, over tipped ( 15%) and will NEVER go back.....yuck....did I mention greasy pancreatic pains on way home? They are lucky I did not go straight to the ER, I am not kidding, have had greasy gut pain before, not a normal thing for me.

1st time for us at Buckshots. Festival weekend in Eagle River and many places were not open. Great chili and soups, cheese curds and onion rings. Sandwiches looked good going to other tables. About 20 tap beers available. Place was busy but they kept up and were very attentive to everyone. We will definitely go back and try more of their menu items.Thank you so much, Debra. Very good pizza, ( though I'm from Chicago so can't say excellent).Very cheesy! Good crust.Only a few tables inside, so we ate outside. We ordered at window and pizza was brought to us, so somewhere between table service and walk up. No beer or wine.Probably will try delivery or take and bake next time.
