Things to do in Deal
Had a Winter Meal Deal offer, 2 pizza's and 2 sides for £19.99. The delivery was quick, about 25 minutes, but the pizza's were average at best. OK if you can't be bothered to throw a supermarket pizza in the oven, and fair at the offer price of £20, however, if I had to pay the advertised normal price of £42, I'd be giving it a score of 1 star.

Due a change in ownership the Kitchen will be closing from this Saturday 26th September until the new owners take over with a view to relaunching the menu on the 26th October. Friendly Pub and Restaurant welcoming all. With excellent value and great tasti
We found the place because it's on the way to Dover. We wanted to eat, especially since we'd read on Tripadvisor the food was good. Nobody said anything of the restaurant only serving food on certain days. Not during the week. That said, the Hobgoblin was excellent, and the owner was ever so helpful and kind.

We specialize in traditional and modern Italian dishes using locally sourced produce. In addition to our traditional menu we offer daily specials to compliment everyone taste. Benvenuti , Luigi`s Italian restaurant is a privately owned restaurant.Situated
We only had a short time to enjoy a meal in lovely Sandwich and so popped into Luigiâs for the first time. We explained we were short on time and the manageress responded immediately, bringing our orders (sea bass ravioli and risotto pescatori) piping hot with drinks in very little time indeed. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere in a beamed (former barn?) room with open kitchen. There is no doubt about the professionalism, good hygiene and quality. Somewhat noisy when full and toilets could perhaps do with an upgrade but would recommend it highly.

We visited on 31 July 2019. The place was large and cavernous. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but it was our Wedding Anniversary and despite advising the waiter, he sat us next to a table of women who were out to get drunk. We would have preferred a quieter area of the restaurant where we could have talked without having to shout. It was a busy time i.e. the 7.30pm sitting so the restaurant was busy and being the tourist season it was frantic. The starter was okay I had the Mozzarella and tomato with vine leaves. The main course was the Parmigiana which was quite nice although a part of the chicken didn't feel like it had been cooked so I didn't eat all of it. The dessert was the cheesecake which was slightly disappointing as it hadn't set properly, but at least you knew it was home-made. I had a small bottle of Prosecco. I think overall if it hadn't been so busy it all wouldn't felt very rushed. Not sure if I could recommend it, would need to go back. My husband said that his Swordfish meal was incredibly salty. We didn't have any wines, so at £60 it was quite expensive for what it was.

What a delightful place. Just popped in for a half and had quite a few more! Great range of beers and ciders including local stuff. Lovely pizzas available too, dog friendly, nice decor, nice artwork(For sale at very expensive prices..but they did have second hand CD's for sale for £1 too!). The service in impeccable and the manager and barmaid were knowledgeable and fun..This is a must visit place if in Deal...

Went for lunch with low expectstions and came away very, very satisfied and well fed. Italian restaurants can be dull but Salentinos is really good. The Sauces are exceptional, the portion sizes generous, the wine list excellent and affordable and the service superb. We will be returning on a regular basis

First time visit here with the family. Ordered one of each pizza with chips, cheesy chips and sweet potato fries. Seriously tasty food. The pizzaâs are amazing and the pizza chef will swap anything upon request. Some unique types too such as the fajita and roast duck (get in there quick as they are popular). All in all next time weâre in Deal we are coming here.

Having discovered I was gluten intolerant in 1996, I have travelled far and wide to find a pizza that doesnât taste like cardboard! And Iâve finally found it after 22 years of searching. The pizza dough and the toppings were sublime (I went for the half and half option) - and did I mention the gf garlic bread?? I thought Iâd died and gone to heaven! This place is a gem and Iâll be back for more when I need my pizza fix!! And to top it all, the staff were excellent and so friendly and the ambiance fabulous. Canât recommend it highly enough.Thank you so much for your fab review, it means a lot. I'm really pleased you enjoyed your pizza, and we look forward to seeing you again.Best WishesMicky
