Padre Islands oldest full service restaurant and a gathering place for the locals. Opened in 1987 and back open after hurricane Harvey destruction and serving a variety of Italian dishes for all your taste buds to enjoy . Open for lunch and dinner.
Second time to try this place. Really hoping to like it because itâs very close to my home. The live band is a mistake, to loud couldnât even have a conversation. Also the lights are way to bright. Would be such a nice environment if they would dim the lights add candles to tables and just play some nice soft Italian music in the background. Even though the food is so so I would go back if it werenât so loud and bright! The pizza was ok. We sent the first one back way over cooked. Itâs a cute place, a few changes would make a world of difference.Always trying to improve for sure. Light's should be dimmed down nightly not sure why they weren't. Any day with out music we have italian music playing on our sound system. Sun - wed no live bands.

Pizza was fantastic. We got thin crust cheese, thin crust supreme, and a thin crust margarita. One of my new favorite pizza places.A little disappointed with the staff as they were rude. The seemed very "ruffled" by the number in our party. We ended up getting our pizza to go and ate at the hotel.Wish we could have enjoyed the ambience of the restuarant.

My wife and I had dinner here in January 2019. It is strolling distance from the Marriott and Fairfield hotels. Reception can give you a -10% coupon upon request. There is a huge menu choice covering steak, pasta, fish and pizza. And an even larger choice of craft and real ales. I had a flight of four DIPA and IPA for $8 and they were all great.Pleasant, friendly service. We would definitely go there again and recommend it to you.

Visited on a Saturday evening around 8:30.The place doesn't look all that glamorous from the outside, and the interior might benefit from a remodel, but the pizza and beer selection was fabulous. We are very fussy about pizza. Visiting from out of town,we only had TA's reviews and rating to guide us. We were not disappointed!Pizza had a wonderfully thin and toothsome crust. It had just the roger amount of sauce on it, it was well dressed with cheese, and our litmus test toppings of pepperoni and mushrooms. It was baked to perfection. Initially had thought of ordering a medium, but was happy That we went with the large instead. Beer selection has a fantastic quantity of cans and bottles, as varied as you will find anywhere. There were also a dozen or so taps with local micros available. This place is not fancy, but the beer and pizza totally make up for that.

Found this place after Googling Italian restaurant in Corpus Christ offering gluten free pizzas (optional!), so thought we'd give it a whirl.Turned up precisely in the hour when they close down their pizza ovens to clean/refresh the charcoal, but the staff couldn't have been more helpful and offered us other gluten free alternatives locally - noting we had young kids and had wanted to eat early.Despite that, we elected to go to the local shops and kill time, and we came back 45 mins later and had one of our best meals of the holiday. The staff took my kids (5 & 3) into the kitchens and let them through flour in the pizza fire, which they loved! The pizzas were some of the best we've ever had. So good, we went back on night three of our stay too.Would definitely look to see if other cities we holiday in in the future have a Grimaldi's, as they really are an awesome dinner venue. Thanks!

Ordered pizzas and breadsticks for takeout- order was ready promptly and the counter service was friendly and efficient. Pizza had a nice crust, generous amounts of cheese and toppings. Breadsticks were awesome. Price was reasonable, considering the amount of food we received. Definitely stopping here again.

Thick crust that wasn't cooked thoroughly. I had 2 pieces of a 12" pizza and threw the rest away. Gummy dough and NO SAUCE! I took the cheese off what I threw away and 2 pieces had sauce...it was just cheese on glumpy bread overall. I'll never do this place again!
