We had a few hours before a wedding and were glad to stop in. Had a great salad, meatball appetizer and antipasto. The food is all fresh and the real deal! Nothing routine here. Lots of other tables around us were getting pizzas. They looked delicious.

My mother has celiac disease, meaning that she can not consume gluten without getting violently ill. So, when we called for delivery she ordered a gluten free pizza. When the delivery boy arrived at our hotel room, he gave us two non-gluten free pizzas. So, my mother called and spoke to an extremely rude woman, aka their manager. She began to yell at her, when my mother was simply trying to explain to her that she can not eat it and that she was frusterated. The woman, Vivian, then asked "What would you like me to do about it?" in a rude tone of voice, my mother said "to at least sound a bit apologetic". The manager then answered, "I'm not apologizing, it's not my fault you're hungry" and hung up on my mom. If they would have called us to tell us that they were out of gluten-free pizzas, that would have been one thing. But to make us wait an hour for our pizzas to be delivered and for her to not even be able to eat hers and then be rude to her on the phone and even hang up on her, that is awful. I would not recommend this to anyone, unless you order all online so you do not have to speak with this woman.

I waited for a "fresh" pie out of the oven and it was only warm and felt like I was eating cardboard. I used to be a big Little Caesars fans but not any longer. The pizza was so bad I threw most of it away.

In Bar Area only Happy Hour (pretty much applies to all National Harbor venues), but it was not crowded and the service was fine. Margarita Pizza was good, but burnt on the bottom in some parts I'd say "scorched" and it ruined the taste (tasted like burnt pizza), but the other parts were very good. Happy Hour wine is not good, I think canyon road, just not worth drinking. Overall, it was OK, won't be back.

I have been going to Charlie's for some years now and find the food to be excellent and of consistent quality, throughout the years. There is a friendly family atmosphere, and plenty of options to select from. This restaurant is frequented by many in the neighborhood and I would suggest it to others that live in other parts of Maryland, or even Virginia or D.C. You will not regret the travel.

I read the other review and im suprised, ive been eating there for years, and its always been good Ledo piza no matter what, type ive purchased, and the same for rthe deserts they are always good as well. Ive usually called it in and it was ready usually in the 20 minte time frame.
