I was In this lovely restaurant (it looked like something in between a restaurant and an agriturismo) with friends visiting my village.The owners are very nice and welcoming,so proud of preparing traditional Calabrese food.Organic grown produce,tasty and nicely presented.It is really worth the visit,the valley overlooking San Donato and the southern part of the Pollino National Park,facing Altomonte on the other side,it is just amazing.

La pizza da Miseria e nobiltà è un'istituzione ad Altomonte: ottima, ben condita e a prezzi davvero economici. Ci vengo sempre volentieri anche perché il servizio è sempre assai cortese e puntuale. Il posto peraltro è davvero molto bello e in pieno centro.

Personale molto gentile e cortese. Fanno svariati tipi di pizze ed anche la scelta dei rustici è molto ampia. Tutti i prodotti sono davvero buonissimi e il prezzo anche ottimo, consiglio a tutti

Nel girovagare per le eccellenze del territorio, dal punto di vista dell'arte e dell'architettura... ci siamo recati ad Altomonte, piccolo scrigno di opere d'arte di livello altissimo .... museo civico e cattedrale da 10 e lode. Successivamente, organizzato da alcuni amici, ci siamo recati a pranzare in questo locale. Bella la veduta, curato il giardino e l'interno. Personale cortese e professionale, pranzo nella media, con ottimi primi. Non sono riuscito ad apprezzare fino in fondo l'arte culinaria poichè vi era menù fisso ...pranzo di pasquetta ... e mi riprometto di ritornare. A presto

Di passaggio nel paese abbiamo fatto cena in questo piccolo locale, ma accogliente. Ottima la pizza e anche gli antipasti,servizio un pó lento, ma nel complesso con il buon prezzo e onesto pagato, questa pecca passa in secondo piano.

My family made the trip to San Donato to see the village our grandparents had emigrated from. It was an amazing experience and only made more special by our lunch at the Baita Malieni on our way out of town. The owners brought us plate after plate of the most delicious food that we had ever had in our entire stay in Italy. The icing on the cake of this wonderful restaurant experience was being serenaded by Luigi with his accordion.

We arrived here midday on a quiet weekday in late May. We were the only customers, yet we were greeted warmly and received excellent service. The view was stupendous and the food equally so. The mozzarella di buffala with cherry tomatoes was indescribably delicious!!Grazie per la recensione.Vi aspettiamo alla prossima
