Things to do in Copiapo

We visited for lunch after not having been here for a while. It's the only Peruvian restaurant in Copiapo and as such, makes a nice change from the typical Chilean menu and flavours. Decor is in Peruvian style and although not especially attractive, isn't too bad either. They do have a TV blaring (a pet hate of mine)... Another annoyance here is the bar at the end of the dining area. In itself, it is no bad thing, but there is frequent use of the blender to make pisco sours, which is loud! Therefore try and avoid sitting near the bar.Service was attentive and initially prompt, although we did seem to wait a long time for our meals to arrive. I had a fish and rice dish whose name escapes me just now. It was pretty tasty and not too large, which was good. My partner had tallerines salteados with pieces of beef (lomo), which was the winner of the two plates. Delicious! We had room to share a suspiro limeño for desert, which was again excellent.Price-wise, it is relatively expensive, but generally good quality.

Peruvian restaurant, not far from the Museo de Atacama, where we had an excellent menu del dia (fab ceviche and a really tasty chicken in mustard sauce). Really friendly staff as well. Very much recommended!

Had a very good meal here - authentic Peruvian. The young lady who served us, Stephanie was great - spoke English, gave us very good reccommendation and was friendly and professional. Would go again should we find ourselves in the same area

Arriving late at night in Copiapo went to this place located close to hotel.Venue was dirty, cold and windy(winter), the person who took orders was tripped out, food when it arrived was uneatable. Left in utter disgust!

Nice place for eating the best sushi and unique Nikkei food in Copiapo.
Its not a traditional sushi place and feels more like a outside club / bar, but that was fine. The sushi was really good. For some reason in Chile, 75% of the sushi has cream cheese in it, which is a little strange to me. Enough other options luckily. Gyozas were good too, the vegetarian noodles were a little tasteless. Like any sushi place, water is ridicilously expensive Dear Zuppiat, Thanks for rating us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again to Okoru SushiBar & Nikkei Copiapó in the near future! Kind Regards,p.d: Water in Copiapó it´s expensive beacause we don´t have tap drinking water available.
