Private hiking. The path is like life: it has a beginning and an end. Our faces in the two moments will be different according to our attitude and the experience (Vivencia) we have had throughout the day, different for each of us and for our personal life. All that is Mindful Hiking in the here and now. We will find forks, easy points and difficult ones, a firm or slippery floor. We will walk alone or with some companions in whom we will guess aspects that make us common and others that do not, making a mirror of what we like about ourselves and what would be better to work on. All that is Mindful Hiking in the here and now. We have been sharing this for 3 years, discovering the most hidden and beautiful corners of Gran Canaria. Natural Pool
Our family of four (children 9 and 11) really enjoyed snorkeling at Las Salinas de Agaete. Water in the pools is clear and you can spot different kind of fish. We had short wetsuits as the water is quite chilly at this time of year. Also bought full facial snorkeling masks from Decathlon and have to say they funtioned excellently. You could see very well as they won't get steamed. There are toilets on the beach. Make sure to bring water and snacks with you and you'll have a beautiful snorkeling day. Would definitely recommend to all who enjoy swimming and/or snorkeling in sea water which is calm and protected from waves.

The GC 200 is some road! We have been fortunate enough to drive the road to Hana in Maui and the Great Ocean Road in Australia and in our view the GC 200 is most certainly in the same league! We drove from Agaete to Puerto Mogan, which is known as Little Venice, the views and scenery are simply stunning. The 68 km journey, circa 43 miles, with lots of photo stops, took two hours including a stop at El Balcon where there was a snack kiosk. Be warned this is not a road for the faint-hearted; it is dangerous, steep, twisting (it is said to have 365 turns) with severe drops and you are likely to encounter large trucks and cyclists on the very well maintained road.
