We decided to go on a husky tour with Igor very spontaneously. Still, everything went great! He picked us up from our place and brought us to the husky kennel where we were introduced to the dogs. Afterwards, the tour began. We sat on a very comfortable sleigh and got to cuddle the dogs after the tour. Igor is a very friendly and happy tour guide! Thanks for being so spontaneous! :)

The thrill of witnessing the Aurora Borealis is a real once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many. The Northern Lights dancing up above is such a powerful and unique natural phenomenon. Being one of the best places to spot the Aurora, Lapland is an incredible place to go hunting. Lets drive to the Finnish wilderness in search of these beautiful whispering lights. We will drive until we find a sweet spot, this normally means in a northernly facing area hopefully under some clear skies and bright stars. Spotting the northern lights is a little bit like whale spotting and Lapland is a huge ocean. Your guide will search for clear skies in order to potentially see some action. This may also mean a little bit of driving. You will only be taken out if there is a chance of good weather. We will cancel for cloud and snow. We don't want to waste your time under cloud. Sept : 22:00 Oct : 21:00 Nov-Feb : 19:30 Feb- March : 21:00 April : 21:30
Inclusions: Snacks, Driver/guide, Local guide, Hotel drop-off, Hotel pickup, Warm Winter Clothes (Gloves, Socks, Gloves, Hat, Overall and Boots), Coffee and/or Tea, Photos included. (Please allow 48 hrs to receive them.)

The reindeer farm was very nice. Our guide was very kind and helpful. The safari route was magnificent with beautiful scenery and nature. The reindeers were beautiful but we didn't get to pet them very much because they are half-domesticated animals and they don't like to be touched. Also none of the reindeers that we were given had horns (we were told that most of the reindeers lose they horns every year in the winter naturally) which kind of ruined the overall beauty. In the farm there were a lot of reideers that still had their horns. I thought of removing one star for this but at the end i could not do it because everything else was perfect. My suggestion to the organizers is that you should let each customer pick his own reindeer (from all the available ones) and not appoint them yourself before the safari. One more negative thing is that we did not get the chance to feed the reindeers as shown in the pictures on your website.

Don’t miss your chance to see the northern lights during your precious holiday time! Enjoy a wonderful journey through the star-studded sky in order to see one of the most spectacular natural phenomena known to man. Aurora borealis is “dancing” in the Arctic sky 80 - 90% of the time during the dark nights of winter. However, this spectacular phenomenon is not always visible from the ground as clouds fill the sky and keep us waiting. Northern Lights Flight will by climbing above the clouds or looking for cloudless areas take you closer to admire this natural wonder. Duration of the program is about 2 hours, including transfers, flight time, safety brief and takeoff and landing preparations. Please note: Northern lights are a natural occurrence and we are unable to guarantee activity, vibrancy or colour on the evening of the flight. Wild Nordic Finland reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the flight in case the weather conditions do not permit the departure.
Inclusions: All taxes, fees and handling charges, Guidance is in English, other languages on request, Return transfers from Rovaniemi city centre hotels, Information and guidance on the northern lights

We decided to do the activity of Snowmobile to catch northern Lights. It was one of the best experiences of our lives! Due to corona te group was reduced and we had the opportunity to spend some great time surrounded by Finland's nature. The activity was perfectly organized. The guide, Dominick came to pick us up to the hotel and we drove to the company's office to change clothes and boots and to pick up the necessary equiptment to carry out the activity. Then he explained the driving agreement and we went out to take the snowmobile. Dominick taught us how to drive the snowmobile and then we began our journey. During the drive, we swoped turns to drive, so each one of us could drive. We liked that Dominick gave us a lot of freedom when organizing the tour, as he asked us how we felt more comfortable driving and how much time we would like to spend by the fire once we ate some snacks. During the barbacue, he explained a lot of things about northen lights, we also like that he knew a lot about the subject and we had the opportunity to hear some great stories about nothern lights and finnish culture. We were able to see some amazing northern lights as he took us to a great spot for wacthing them. As a conclusion, it was a great experience and Dominick was very nice to us during the whole trip. We strongly recommend this activity!!
Join our tour to see the northern lights, the great natural phenomenon of the Arctic areas! During the tour we visit a great location for this experience. Take your camera and tripod, and try to catch the beautiful colours. We drive out from the city and light pollution about 30 - 45 minutes, to find the clearest skies. If we are lucky, the northern lights may be visible on the way to the location. The northern lights are often seen when the sky is clear, though also on evenings appearing cloudy there may still be chances for seeing them. While waiting for the northern lights to appear your guide will light a campfire and you can enjoy some snacks and hot drinks while listening to stories and facts about the northern lights. Even without the northern lights, the arctic starry sky is very beautiful. Please note: thermal clothing is not provided for this program.

The search for the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis is not easy but your professional guide will take you to the likeliest spot of that evening. Certain conditions must be met such as darkness and avoiding the city lights which is why your guide will drive further north into the wilderness. Deeper into the arctic circle your guide will camp at one of our various lookout locations with the highest possibility of having a clear sky with a panoramic view. There, search in comfort as your guide prepares a campfire to cook a typical delicious Lappish BBQ of sausage with hot berry juice. There can be no guarantees of seeing Aurora because she likes to play hide-and-seek, but your professional guide will use his/her in-depth knowledge and experience to calculate the factors for the best possibility of when and where you might find Aurora. DLSR cameras are best for photography and the company may have a tripod available upon request.
Inclusions: ~ FreeTripod for camera (on request), ~ Guiding service, ~ Lappish picnic by open fire, ~ Pickup & return to your accommodation
