Hatsukaichi is a city of some 120,000 people located in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The name derives from a market traditionally held on the 20th of each month with hatsuka meaning "20th day" and ichi translating to "market".

Stunning place on an island. Loved the fact you have to go by boat, it add something... In addition to this very historical and special place, you'll find some dear, which is something really sweet :-D Don't be afraid to get off your shoes in order to be closer to the shrine. Go in the morning to have the shrine not too crowded
