Things to do in Wyomissing
We've been here often and it is one of our favorite places to go. The service is excellent, the wait time is nil, and the dishes are always hot, not that "luke warm" type from other restaurants that are simply nuked. They often have someone playing the guitar, singing songs and getting the crowd involved. At Alberije's, you know the meals are made to order. If you're in Berks County and like Mexican food, Alberije's is the place to go!

We will often hit Alebrije's for lunch when we want to get out of the office. We usually have 8-10 in our party and they always have room to seat us. I Usually get a combo platter so I can try a couple of items and always leave full, and satisfied. The chips and salsa are always a great start to our meal, make sure you get the hot salsa!

Chipotle is always good for the food quality. I had the chicken tacos. This trip it seemed like I had to ask for everything like beans, rice, etc, they went right to putting the chicken in. The staff seemed put out anytime you asked for something. They were busy talking amongst themselves. I go to this Chipotle often and this was the first negative experience I have had.

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
Was traveling and I used the busy rule.. If a restaurant is busy then it must be okay.. if it's empty..LEAVE. I stopped at an empty diner (and left the property) before I found this place. For a Monday night.. they were about 30% full, which for a Monday night speaks volume. I did have a headache for driving for 6+ hours thru the mountains of PA.. so I was Hungry and tired. Our server took our order quickly and the food appeared rather promptly. The salsa was a little warm (jalapeno heat.. tasty) chips crispy and slightly salted.I had a pork burrito and it was tasty. Sides were black beans and refried beans. As previously admitted I was tired and hungry and I will just say that this place was good and I would stop again.

We went here for dinner. It appears to be a small locally owned restaurant which we prefer. The atmosphere was welcoming and casual. The food was outstanding. I had the Camarones a la Mexicana. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked. It was spicy but perfect for the recipie, not too much. My friend had the Carne Asada and she said it was delicious. We both thought the black beans were excellent and much better than refried beans you might get somewhere else. They deliver!

I was ready for lunch, and decided to stop in. At first, I was confused if it was sit down or take out, but then I realized you just seat yourself and the waiter will be over. Although it did take a little bit to be waited on, the staff was extremely friendly and the food - delicious! Authentic, hot, and delicious. I will definitely be back!

We arrived at 514pm on Saturday night and wait was only 15 min. Seated next to the kitchen waste area. Lovely. Food was bland and unappealing. Barely warm. Server would flit in and ask a question then disappear. No real interest in service. Rest room was disgustingly dirty. Manager was chatting with the employees in the back but not interested in the restaurant. Server would clean the tables of dishes, then go sit down in the back and wrap âcleanâ silverware with a napkin. No evidence of cleaning hands (like, how about hand sanitizer at least) . Music was loud and screeching. Dessert was probably the worst flan I have ever seen or tasted. This is not on my list for a repeat.
