We called ahead for a group of 14. They quickly accommodated us, and the waiter got every order perfect. The mariachi band was really good. They were fun to interact with! Food very good.

While visiting my home town area my brother suggested that we go here for lunch. He told me how the owner had stopped to help him when his truck broke down and they did not even know each other from Adam. I was also impressed by the fact that they support the local Developmental Disabilities agency by hiring one very sweet young lady to work in the restaurant completing much needed duties. NOW, the food was great as was the service. Can't go wrong eating out here.

Toro Loco is the best Mexican food in the area. As a local chain, the Portsmouth location is the best by far. It has bigger portions, better food, and a large staff. Better yet, it has Modelo on tap!

Stopped in here around 8:45 in the evening. No customers in the establishment do there was no wait time. Upon placing my order I noticed food all over the floor in the prep area on both sides. No reason for it to be this filthy considering there was no one here. Totally disgusting. Worst one I've ever been in

Best mexican lunch buffet around. I wish it was open on weekends since I work through the week however. If you get the chance, it is well worth it. Fajitas, burritos, mini-chimichangas, taco salad, etc. Plus these awesome little cheesecake cinnamon things for dessert. Also, for some odd reason, Toro Loco has the best tasting Coke fountain products. I know that sounds crazy, but try it for yourself! The only negative I have to say about Toro Loco is that the ground beef is really fatty and salty. They need to switch to probably Ground Chuck to fix that.

Attended the 2018 Valentine dinner with my daughter. This was a 5-course meal that included tomato soup, citrus salad with strawberries poppyseed dressing, jerked shrimp with pineapple salsa, smoked Cornish game hens with glazed carrots and picked beets, and red velvet parfait for dessert.
