The restaurant is gorgeous to view on the inside. Lots of cultural decor noted everywhere! The service left alot to be desired. We actually had to flag down someone to help us a few times. The manager did assist our table with the delivery of drinks and food, but then the food delivered was not what my daughter ordered at all. It was the opposite of what she ordered actually. I think this was a bad service day, but not a bad restaurant.

We never seem to be seated in a timely manner and the waiter seems to take their time to come as well. The food is average and the drinks are okay. The location is great, but would not recommend other than convenience.
Nicest Mexican restaurant in town, with good menu.
This food is more Mexican food versus the Tex-Mex food we are used to eating. It was good and very satisfying, but was missing the extra we are used to.

We have searched for true Mexican flavor since "discovering" it in San Antonio a few years back ... this is it! Simply the most delicious, complex flavors developed by just the right seasonings and just the right char. Soft, handmade tortillas and a serve-yourself toppings bar add to the appeal. The wait staff is extremely helpful and will make you feel right at home. No question this is our new favorite Mexican restaurant (and maybe favorite restaurant of any kind) in T-town.

Catered a business lunch with wonderful "fajita gumbo" and delicious queso and salsa, among other items. Attendees at the meeting were able to speak to the generosity of the owner-- the business has won a statewide award for excellence. Delicious and virtuous.

Was very hungry when we stopped and very full when leaving. Service is outstanding and food is great. Always enjoy every location. Worth the stop.

Great atmosphere, great food and friendly staff, try our famous molcajete you will not be disappointed; Our Margaritas are real good made daily with fresh limes.
My wife and I ate dinner at Los Tarascos today. My wife ate a shrimp enchiladas combo and I had a chicken burrito. We ate for under $21.00 excluding the tip. The food was very flavorful; the salsa was as good as any I've ever had. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican at a good price.

I thought the atmosphere at Central Mesa was nice & conducive to having a visit with an old friend. We were there for her birthday.Music was playing at an appropriate level;you could hear it but it didn't drown out your conversation. The food & drinks were average, although we had an awesome waitress.I was a little disappointed in the menu & food as I was hoping for more of a variety, especially some items that didn't contain all meat & drinks made with fresh juices. Salsa was served cold right out of refrigerator . I like mine room temp. or warm. I thought the entrees were a little over-priced,but you did get a generous portion. My friend said the sangria was very good.I would be willing to give it another go just because I liked the atmosphere.this was during the week so don't know what it's like on the weekends!
