Ordered the steak quararito and then ordered it again. Extremely complex and still a palatable dish. The texture of the latin rice blends perfectly with the melted cheese and chipotle sauce, first bringing spiced notes of paprika and rosemary and ending with a spicy finish that remains subtle yet rich, just slightly accenting the flavor of the seasoned steak. A great fusion of two flagship Latin American dishes. Would eat six more.
What to do and see in Opelika, United States: The Best Places and Tips
We visited here for lunch after Christmas with our family. The place doesn't look that great from the street however they have done a nice job on the inside. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, you could tell they took time to prepare each dish. My fajitas were delicious, the chicken quesadillas were amazing. Authentic Mexican street tacos.Full bar, very friendly, the owner is on site and helping out.We will return for sure.
Opelika Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Opelika
We found Durango to have good food at very reasonable prices. The location, very near Tiger Town, is convenient to the hotels. The waitress was personable and very efficient. We were with local family that eat here on a regular basis. The food was good, the service was fast, and the price was right.
Easy access to and from the Interstate. I was greeted with the usual "Welcome to Moe's". The menu was of course similar to all other Moe's. My burrito was rolled tightly and did not disintegrate in my hands. They had beer too, and not just Bud Light either. I'll stop here again.
I'm not Mexican, but this place serves up what I imagine to be pretty authentic tacos! And considering we observed several Mexican families eating here, I'd guess my imagination isn't too far off. The restaurant is an old dairy barn and doesn't have any indoor customer areas. You order at a window and then wait until your order is called. You can either take away or eat at one of their outside tables. I had steak tacos and my husband had the shredded chicken tacos. You choose corn or flour tortillas and then between cheese and lettuce or cilantro and onion. The steak tacos were very tasty but I'd probably opt for the shredded chicken next time - some of the steak pieces were a little chewy/grisly. My husband raved about the shredded chicken and hasn't stopped talking about them since! I can't wait to go back! Oh - and they offer other menu items besides tacos, including daily specials. Priced very reasonably.

We were seated, placed our order and food and drinks were received within 10 min. I have never been served so quickly. Waitress was outstanding. People coming and going. The manager and bartender helping out when needed. NO ONE was waiting for refills on water, pops or beers. Food was hot, and good. We always like the warm chips and dip before our meal.. The meals, always too big.,,, but isn't that something nice to complain about. Employees all have great attitudes and owner was there to make sure everyone was happy. We would return.

Two couples ate dinner here. My wife and I had the fajitas for two. We had a more than ample serving and the best fajitas that we have had in many years. The service was very good and so was the atmosphere in the restaurant. The only issue we had was with the person who took our drink order when we arrived. He only spoke Spanish and that made it difficult to order drinks.
