Things to do in Maricopa
We visit here quite a bit. So far, everything we've tried is good. My wife, a true native Mexican, loves their Menudo and Pozole on the weekends. It's not a fancy place, but the food is good and the owners are friendly.
John and Loran had lines of people and were cool and collective. They were very personable and did a great job behind the bar.The food was a bit pricey but you are not cheated on the meal..They give you a lot

I know Mexican food because I work in Mexico about 15 times (total >40 days) every year. The burrito in Mexico looks and tastes different. They don't have a lot of rice and beans as fillers. This place is OK. I welcome any new restaurant here in town. Service was fine. The place was clean. The price is reasonable ($8-$10).

We stopped into the Taco Bell in Maricopa. Pleasant employees; however the food was cold and not to tasteful. We would not personally go to that particular Taco Bell again; but if may have changed in the last couple of weeks.
Maricopa is the home of fast food places. Therefore any new sit down RESTAURANT is worth a try or retry. Formerly this was the location of Teakwoods until it closed several years ago. The site remained vacant until recently.First impression: If you have your home's A/C set around 80 degrees, you'll feel at home here. Just a bad idea to have customers sitting in a hot restaurant. The salsa was kind of watery, we like ours thicker. Maricopa is the home of fast food places. Therefore any new sit down RESTAURANT is worth a try or retry. The salsa was kind of watery, we like ours thicker. The warm chips were "ok".My wife ordered Fish Tacos fro the regular menu at a cost of $11.50. There were three tacos, refried beans & rice served on a real plate with real silverware! Diet ice tea was $2.40. My wife reported the tacos were very good.I ordered a Deluxe Beef Burrito that came with guacamole & sour cream for $8.75 from the standard menu + a diet soda @ $2.50. My first taste was a little salty. Overall my burrito was ok as I've had worse and better so this falls in the middle. In a few months we'll dine here again to see if this restaurant has improved.

Restaurant options in Maricopa are generally pretty weak. This was our favorite, as they offer solid Mexican food, drinks, and servers. I think there are probably taco trucks with more authentic Mexican food, but if you want to sit down and be served, this is the place to go. (Yelp says they are closed on Saturday, but that's not true.)

Friday evening features all you can eat fish and chips at a reasonable price, service can be a bit spotty depending how busy they are, this place is a Maricopa original. don't let the decor fool you...breakfast is also a good value
