Jacksonville is a city in Jackson County, Oregon, United States, approximately 5 miles (8 km) west of Medford. It was named for Jackson Creek, which flows through the community and was the site of one of the first placer gold claims in the area. It includes Jacksonville Historic District, which was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1966. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 2,235. As of July 1, 2011, the city's population was estimated to be 2,800.

My daughter and I stopped here while passing through. The location is in an industrial area but donât let that deter you. This place is authentic food and genuinely nice staff. My daughter got the chimichanga which I ended up being jealous of...SO GOOD! She was in love! If I am ever in an authentic Mexican restaurant, I always go for enchiladas and I wasnât disappointed here. The chicken tamale was not my favorite but good. Wish I could frequent this place but too far from home.

I was staying overnight in Medford and walked from my motel to find a place to have dinner. Lots of fast food places, but nothing which appealed to me. I started back to the motel and when walking thru a shopping mall saw the El Arriver sign. I went in and found the food to be excellent, the service to be friendly, and the atmosphere to be relaxing. Great place. Highly recommended.

My husband only orders chimichanga's form Octavio's. Their chimichanga's are my husband's favorite and he's picky. The owner is Octavio and he is a very personable proprietor. We love this place.

We waited about a hour from when we walked in until our food was served. We had to ask to be served our ice tea, and when our food was served, we asked for more salsa, it came after a 10 minute wait. The food was good, hot and generous portions we served. I had chicken taquitos, a simple dish, well prepared.

Amazing variety of tacos for less than $2 each and only a buck on Wednesdayâs. $6 lunch plates. Great salsa bar. Great selection from their bar. Friendly service.The two best Mexican restaurants in Medford are both on Stewart Street, a bit off the beaten track. Not far from Harry and Davidâs.

My brother and I spent 5 days in Medford, Oregon, eating twice at El Molcajete Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. There is a friendly and efficient staff and the decor and atmosphere were just right.

If you love Mexican food, this is not the place to go. If you like American Mexican, then it might be just the right place. I have eaten here several times over the years, I am still not impressed. Even the margaritas werenât right as they were syrupy sweet and lacking an alcohol kick. (We ordered and added another shot to each drink, still sweet, sweet, sweet.) The food is extremely bland and to top it off, it is pricey!

JâVille is a wealthy area. We didnât expect to find a real home-style Mexican here amongst the arty-farty set with their craft, art and quinoa, but there it was!Family owned and operated, this place really sizzles along (especially the fajitas!) with Luis running front of house. Margaritas come in the usual three sizes (L, XL, XXL) and are tasty.Menu is extensive, so pick your favourite Mexican dish and go for it. We did chicken specials, both of which were great.Hint: ask right away for their spicy options, and get a bowl of the habaneros sauce if you like it hot.Loved this place. A real local spot.
