I am writing this to support this modest, reasonable provider of authentic Mexican food. At 6pm on a Friday, I am the only customer in the small upfront seating area (although there were a few carry outs). Folks, these folks deserve better! They passed all my basic checkoffs: no preformed crunchy taco shells, no ground beef. I regard slightly soupy refries as a good thing. And!! tongue tacos to the delight of my spouse. The pride in their food is shown by the care in the garnishes: three cucumber slices topped by 3 lime wedges and 3 red radish quarters, sharing space with a slab of cactus and a half of a small onion. Honest food, reasonably priced. Stop in.

Toro Bravo offers traditional Mexican cuisine that includes hearty combination platters, table side fresh made guacamole, hand-made tortillas and fantastic side dishes. Using the freshest ingredients and authentic recipes makes our cuisine stand above the
Had an early weeknight dinner. We were the only retaurant patrons. The food was better than average for the cuisine. My lime margarita was ample in size but only so-so in taste. Assume it was well tequila. I would not order it again. The wait staff was very efficient and helpful.

This place is situated in a strip mall next to La Fountain Blu. It is always super busy on Fridays and Saturdays. They use a number system to seat you. The food is fresh and hot when it gets to your table. They also do fresh guacamole at your table side. Best margaritas!!! The staff and owners are the best!!!

Lived in San Diego for quite a few years and had been to Tijuana multiple times with friends. The corn tortilla was very similar to the corn tortilla in Tijuana which is not like Taco Bell corn tortillas or a lot of other restaurants around here. The seasoning was right on the beef was just a little bit different since Tijuana serves shredded beef on their tacos. The taco was very good. The rice was pretty close to what we would could get in Mexico and very good. The pinto beans were also good. It does take some time since they do prepare the food fresh and it is definitely worth the wait. The queso and chips was also very good but I do love cheese. My daughter got the chicken flour taco and also liked it. I will agree with others the food when I picked up smelled weird but, I also remember saying in Mexico also. It is not the restaurant but the food.

La Carnita is the spot to enjoy delicious tacos, a handful of churros and wash it all down with a fresh cocktail or beer.
Went at 2pm on a Monday. They were not busy at all. I was seated quickly and they came to take my drink order. Diet Coke. Machine broken so no diet coke. They had no other sugar free options. Lame. Got the fish taco and Carne asada taco with a side of rice. Both tacos were very good. Rice was actually excellent. The tres leches dessert was fine, could have used more sauce for sure. Overall it was good and I'd go back in the future.

I felt like a steak meal so that is what I had and was happy with the service and the cooking of my steak. I asked for medium rare and got exactly what I asked for and it tasted great. I saw some other patrons meals and they all looked delicious as well so I think youâd be happy with whatever you ordered from this restaurant - as long as youâre not looking for a classy romantic dinner!

Instead of reviewing the food at a chain restaurant I will assume you have had chipotle and discuss the business. The staff was friendly and very prompt about providing service. The restaurant was clean and appeared to be taken well care of. This location is in a busy area so parking can be difficult during lunch hours. Highly recommend.

When you want authentic Mexican food in the Glen Burnie, MD area, visit Los Portales. Our diverse menu features a wide variety of delicious offerings, including our locally famous fajitas. Your whole family is sure to love us!
Los Portales and the original location, Plaza Garibaldi, provide stellar Tex-Mex staples and some unique dishes. I will say, the quality has decreased over the years as they grew in popularity., but if you never ate here or at Garibaldi in the early days, you'll be perfectly happy. Chips and salsa good standards, salsa now a bit to tomato-y and no longer fresh-made salsa fresca quality - lacking in spice or flavor. But as good as most.Servings are typically large, most dishes come with rice and beans. A single quesadilla makes a good lunch appropriate meal. Food always makes it to the table hot. Service usually very good. The fried chimichangas no longer come served on top of melted quest blanco (a sign of decreased quality, or increased business) which is a big shame since it really added to the flavor. However, they're well filled and the beef filling is especially tasty.Parking is good, location is just off Route I-97 and on the backside of the BWI airport, making this a great stop off for dinner after a flight. Overall more like a3.5 rather than a 4 due to knowing what was versus what it, but for the uninitiated, a 4 is reasonable.
