If you wish to experience the Sardinian classic dishes at it's best- this is the place to go. The setting of the Agriturismo is spectacular, well worth the drive. The service is superb, the staff very friendly and welcoming. The lunch menu costs â¬35 per head and is actually very reasonable considering what's on offer... a welcome drink and nibbles, huge,varied and delicious antipasti spread, two pasta 'primi' dishes and two meat 'secondi' dishes, an array of desserts, wine, coffee, digestif's...the purple potato and saffron ravioli was insanely good, every other dish was well above standard. This place is food heaven.

After collecting the Deeds to out new property in town we walked around on a wet Sunday looking for some food. Came across this beaut of a place. Warm welcome. No menu. No need to worry, six courses later and as much vino rose you can drink and all is well in Sardinia. Wow what a place. Busy with local families. Will be back for sure. Pasta, Meat, you name it,we ate it

Niet zo vriendelijk onthaald, maar het was al laat. De pizza was gewoon lekker, maar de calzone viel niet mee, de vulling was waterig.

Have been to this restaurant many times now, provides excellent quality food in an elegant environment with service that is professional, friendly but never over present. It is also excellent value for money. Not very easy to find this balance in this area of the island. It is hard to find a negative point. Sas Benas specialises in using ingredients from the Monti Ferru area, do not expect fish but the best meat you can find in Sardinia, Cas'e Zolu cheese and plenty of Fil'e Ferru (local grappa type drink).I normally plan a dinner (I prefer to be safe avoiding to drive and enjoy my dinner and drinks) bed and breakfast; Sas Benas has lovely rooms furnished with antiques and many of them have great views of the mountain. If you are travelling from the North (Alghero) of Sardinia to the South (Cagliari), Santulussurgiu is a great place to spend a night or more, surprisingly cool and green. Highly reccommended.

The room was full and most of the people were dressed casually, yet the atmosphere was quiet and somewhat elegant. The service was attentive, and the meal prepared by chef Sarah was very creative, well prepared, and playfully presented. Late evening visit for a couple of fish dishes. Really great mussels, awesome shrimp and some really excellent fries. Great location and on a clear night a brilliant sunset view. Drinks well priced but salad a little expensive for what it was. The only issue, which was no fault of the restaurant, was the mosquitoes! I'd take your own citronella candle if you're sitting on the terrace!Well worth a visit Thank you for your review, and for appreciating both our dishes and our structure. We are sorry that the mosquitoes have bothered you, we usually place several "zampironi" that most often manage to keep them away. See you soon with the hope of deserving the 5 star.
