We went to this restaurant as we were guests of the hotel in which it is located. Everything was simply perfect, from the food, the suggested wine and the staff. The quality/price ratio is unexpectedly very good.Last but not least, the restaurant is located in the 5th floor with an incredible view of the town and the bay.

Last minute visit on arriving in the area. Some difficulties with Spanish/English translations but both us and the waitress worked through it together...in fact it was great fun and she was a star. Great tortilla and veal and ribs all at a very reasonable price as well. We may return for the seafood later in the week. Would definitely recommend.

Although upon check in the owner wasn't very polite, actually he didn't even say hola.. We were given all the necessary answers to our questions (in Spanish). The hotel is clean and the rooms with view even better! Breakfast was also very good, serving ham and fresh juice.

Fabulous laid back atmosphere, great produce and delicious food. The chef, Oscar (nickname: Galandum), came highly recommended. He is an excellent host and we could not be happier with the experience. The flavorful and silky risotto, the shellfish, octopus and langoustines... to die for!Great find. Definitely a must!

We were travelling around northern Spain when we saw the sign to Porto do Barqueiro,A Coruna and thought we would take a look.A totally unspoiled small port with bags of character. The restaurant sits on the quay and by climbing to the first floor you have great views over the estuary and harbour. We were greeted by Rosanna and although we arrived at around 4 PM she was happy to let us stay and eat while everybody left to get on with their day.We ordered a mixture of starters including peppers, salad, Iberico ham ,mussels and chips ! The photos I have enclosed will do the talking for the food as it was spectacular. The atmosphere and ambience was worth a visit as was the geniality of a host. And unexpected delightful afternoon spent at this restaurant.

A friend recommended this restaurant and we spent almost three hours there eating good food, drinking a great Galician wine (MencÃa) and having a good conversation. The place is really calm we ate outside at the terrace, also very quiet (no main roads very close). The beach is really close so itâs perfect for the summer time. No modern cuisine, 100% Galician tradition: top ingredients & good portions. Tough this restaurant itâs very well-known for the good quality of the meat (the steak was tasty), the fish and the sea food were also delicious.

After some very disappointing eating experiences on this tour of northern Spain we were recommended this restaurant by our host and somehow managed to walk in and get a table for two on an otherwise fully booked Saturday night..please don't try this, book to ensure you are not disappointed. The restaurant is new, very modern in an 'industrial/Scandinavian' themed decor and staffed by very young, enthusiastic and very well trained staff. The menu is (thankfully) small (5 starters, 4 fish courses, 4 meat/veg and 4 desserts) and had we been staying longer in this area I would have willingly revisited on consecutive nights to try the lot! Ours were freshly cooked, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Get as many as you can to share and don't forget to save room for the amazing desserts! And having paid a lot more for significantly less, the bill was also a treat!

Situated right on the harbor serving superb fresh fish and seafood. We ordered grilled mussels , braised squid stuffed with onions and grilled gilt head bream - all wonderful. Home made desserts of apple layered cheesecake and pears poached in red wine were also really good. Very friendly service with some English spoken. Very happy to recommend and would go back.
