Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Limpopo Province. Limpopo (UK: /lɪmˈpoʊpoʊ/) is the northernmost province of South Africa. It is named after the Limpopo River, which forms the province's western and northern borders. Ocean basket is my favorite restaurant in South Africa. Actually only seafood restaurant available in Limpopo. We used to have lunch almost every weekend when it was cheaper in old days. And food is nice. Although my regular dish has been Platter for one with fried calamari head and grilled fish and just rice for most of my lunches. But I also tried sushi, salmon, salad and their nice Baklava dessert and ice cream too.All nice. Salmon is my daughters favorite dish.We most often go to Mall of the North branch of Polokwane.Savannah branch has the advantage of a very calm environment and a new kids corner for younger kids.Could be nicer if they become straw less, have WiFi and a classic music background.

A very nice environment with lots of paintings around.Food was nice. I had pasta.I liked the blueberry gin.Their team were smiling and kind. Although their food menu not that long but a nice environment for drink or a light meal.

At Ocean Basket Lephalale Elisras you'll find friendly people, a home-from-home feeling and great value for your hard-earned bucks.
We were travelling from South Africa to Botswana and our son-in-law had recommended that we stop here on the way - and we were certainly glad that we did. Two of us had tilapia and chips and the rest had hake and chips. We had a variety of desserts, including ice cream, and it was great! Certainly glad that we stopped. Sorry that we didn't get more photographs! The guy who served us was very good - but the food was the star. Ocean Basket is a good chain in this region - we were only sorry that we did not get a chance to return during our stay. At 888 Rand for five or us (about £53), it was great value for money too! This review is o-fish-ally awesome ShaunH290. So glad to read about your awesome experience. We look forward to having you back again soon. The OB Team

Khaya Ndlovu is situated in the Khaya Ndlovu Game Reserve, surrounded by nature, yet a stoneâs throw away from Hoedspruit, gateway to the greater Kruger - wildlife haven of the Limpopo Province, South Africa. The core of our establishment, the Manor House
There are so many amazing memories from our first trip to South Africa but I have to say that our dinner on the last night at Khaya Ndlovu Manor House made it perfect! My only regret is that we didn't get to actually stay at the reserve. If our dining experience is any indication of the customer service and attention to detail that was shown to us for a few hours, I can only imagine how wonderful a stay would be at this beautiful Manor House! We were initially unsure if the restaurant was open to the public or if it was just for guests. With all the great reviews on tripadvisor about Khaya Ndlovu, I called ahead to see if I could book dinner. I was told that we could and they would need at least a 24-48 hour notice. This worked out perfectly for our last night in Limpopo. They were also very helpful with adjusting the evening's menu for one of our party with diet restrictions. The interesting part was when I was speaking to the person on the phone I was told that the meal could be served to our convenience since we were the only guests. The reality of that statement didn't impact me until our arrival. From the moment we drove up and were greeted in the driveway by not one but two of the staff, to the final dinner course, everything really was perfection! And the earlier remark made by the staff that took our reservation was brought home as we were escorted to the dining area and discovered that we were the only party having dinner. A lovely table was set for the four of us next to the pool deck that overlooked the reserve. It really was magical! The staff was extremely welcoming and outgoing. The four course meal was divine! From the scampi dish for my friend to the meat dish served to the rest of us! Everything from presentation to flavor was wonderful. We all enjoyed our meal immensely and having the Chef and his assistant to come out to meet us and check on our meal was the perfect touch!Thank you to everyone at The Khaya Ndlovu Manor House for making our visit to memorable! We hope to return for a stay!

We came to Hoedspruit to watch the World Cup game and were really impressed with the friendly service and great staff and owners. The prices of the pizzas are good but be careful when ordering extra toppings their price are ABSURD. I ordered a margerita pizza (R70) and added olives. There were two olive slices per slice of pizza. For 16 olive slices I paid 28 RAND. The cost of my pizza increased by 50% for less than 8 olives. Complete ripoff. Thanks for your valuable review. We have looked into our pricing and costing on pizza add-ons and happy to say your input has been most helpful for us to better the value of meals with a newly designed and priced menu.
