Things to do in La Paz
We have a menu that fuses Mediterranean, Italian and Baja cuisine. All made with fresh ingredients and premium seafood as Totoaba and organic oysters, with traditional items such as carpaccio, pizzas, salads and risottos.
You can find Totoaba fish from a sustainable farm. This restaurant is part of a distribution chain for supporting and avoid the extinction of this fish. The Owner and chef, Christian has special touch with the right combination between Mediterranean cuisine and Baja dishes. The restaurant has an awesome decoration with local artists works to sell.

Sea Side bar wine & grill restaurant is Mediterranean/International style cuisine overlooking the most stunning view of the entire bay of La Paz next to a white sandy beach and crystal waters. You can sip a magical margarita or a nice cold beer at the bar.
Linen table clothes. Friendly staff. This restaurant presents like a 5-star but the food falls below average with little taste. Started with a charcuterie board that featured lunch meat and no goat cheese (which is produced locally). That was $40 U.S. $$$$. The Caesar salad was presented with greens tossed in olive oil. We enjoyed ourselves and our bottle of wine but when leaving the hostess had her baby son sitting on the counter where the chef places the plated meals. This is a view with cocktails only place until they figure out what status of restaurant they would like to become.

Italian Restaurant specializing in Pasta & Seafood from the Sea of Cortez. Located inside Posada de las Flores Hotel.
My bf and I both work in restaurants and generally have a high standard for food. Oliva was exceptional. The service, ambience, cocktail, appetizer, entree, dessert, even the espresso were phenomenal. Usually with âfancyâ places I wind up being somewhat disappointed by one element or another but Oliva was consistently great in every aspect. Would go back and pay US prices (ie twice as much) for what we got. Other places with high reviews have disappointed us as we are here before the tourist season really starts but we came on a whim on a Thursday evening in September and were blown away. Canât speak highly enough of this place.

Nice looking space, better-than-average food, nice presentation. The only problem was the server - this was the only time in several trips to Baja I have experienced bored and inattentive service. Since I was the only customer, it almost seemed like she was annoyed that I interrupted her lazy evening. I wanted to sarcastically apologize for interrupting her texting and TV watching.

We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed everything we have ordered. The courtyard setting is so nice and the service is very, very good. Our last visit was vegetarian lasagne (not soggy, not way too cheesy) and sea bass with garlic and capers. As much as we enjoyed dinner, we did manage to leave space for dessert. Oh my goodness....the flan was the best I have ever tasted. Great restaurant.

Located in La Paz, the capital city of Baja California Sur, Il Rustico is owned and operated by an Italian couple who are not only experts in Italian cuisine but offer a relaxing ambiance that is so inviting. Pastas, salads, pizzas from their oven, and desserts all delight the most decerning diners. Full bar. Reasonably priced, it is a favorite for locals and tourists alike. ¡Bienvenidos!

Dined here on our first night at Costa Baja. Food was spot on the tuna crudo was a bit spicy but that is how I like it. The Tuna tartar was to die for and the Scallop Carpacio was great. We sat outside and the weather was pleasant this time of year.
