Came here for lunch, wanted fish, but they didn't have any so ordered prawns, which came in shells, real pain to peel, but tasty. My husband had mixed grill, some meat was very nice, some OK. We ordered two side dishes, one never came and the other was cold vegetables, would have expected warm ones. But the service, despite a bit slow, was with a smile and everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves.

For the Easter Holidays we flew over to Sardegna with our two kids.We were sincerely welcomed at Sa Rosada. The restaurant is well located and nicely decorated .The barman was one of the traditional pagan mamuthones in the yearly carnaval and we could try on his ancient mask. He had been to Antwerp,Belgium too with his group in the past. The patron was also extremely friendly and we had a very tasty lunch!

If it happens to come to Sardinia, Fonni isn't just round the corner. Quite in the center of the island suyrrounded by the highest peaks in Sardinia not to say that to get there you have to drive along not really highways. But what you get it is really worth. Pasquale, the owner is great, and food and atmosphere are great too. Typically Sardinian food above all traditional country food. Lots of starters, local types of pasta, meat such as mutton or lamb and delicious sucking pig cooked on the grill or on the spit/spit roasted. Don't go yet because you are expected to taste some typical Sardinian desserts such as seadas and almond sweets. Wine is also local and included; most of the times it's the stron red "cannonnau". And to finish coffee, and "fill'e ferru", that's Sardinian brandy made from grapes. Or would you like some "mirto" to finish your unforgettable sardinian meal? Cost? It's all included for 28 euros.

Pizza & Restaurant (typical Italian and Sardinia's food). Visit our website for more information. We speak english.
We came here on our trip to Sardinia and were very impressed. Not only with the food, but the service is great. We had baked mussels, which were worth the wait, and pizzas which were so huge we had to take the rest away! Staff are lovely and the view during the day must be great too, so I would definitely recommend.

It is far better booking to get a decent dinner on weekends, otherwise you are doomed to wait and wait and wait. Apart this inconvenience,Service, food and price are all right. They offer local dishes and products so they are fresh and therefore good.Usually when I travel I'd like to taste local cuisine and this is the right place but book in advance.

The restaurant has a rugged grace, much in line with the Sardinian inland. An extensive menu with plenty of local meats and mushrooms, all spotlessly cooked and served. Also the open wine (an austere sangiovese and syrah) deserves full respect. This place is definitely worth the detour.
