Things to do in Canosa di Puglia
Calamariba is, actually, a fish shop, a typical, nice Italian fish shop with first choice fresh fish, any shell fish, also oysters you can eat raw (Italian style) right there. But the true tasty surprise is that you can sit down (if you want, two tables) and eat any fish you select from the fresh display. They have a kitchen, with a cook, of course and the experience will be...glorious.I warmly suggest a "frittura", fried fish, one of the best I have ever tasted, hot with a squeeze of lemon and a nice cold bottle of white wine (yes they have a choice of wines). An Italian sea aperitivo will be top notch, too.So, if after an exhausting archaeological visit in Canosa, for lunch or for dinner, no doubt, a fantastic culinary "jump" in the Mediterranean in an unusual setting, will certainly make your day...special: Calamariba.Buon appetito and cheers

Personale cortese. Ottimo vino bianco. Soprattutto ottimi gli antipasti e il primo. Il secondo nella norma. Lo consiglio.

Went early, 9:00, on a Saturday night with friends and experienced no wait. Place gets very crowded after 10:00. Pizza was outstanding, and they offer may different types. Service was helpful and attentive. Location is partially out of the way and somewhat far from the center of town, but easily accessible by foot. Street and walkway are on the slippery side. Overall, great place for pizza. Highly recommend it. Carbondolce si dissocia da tripadvisor poichè mendace e poco attendibile a causa della pressochè assenza di controllo da parte dei gestori.

What a brilliant find! Casa 28 is a wonderful restaurant serving authentic Italian food in a a super setting. Canosa is not a tourist trap like other places in the south, it's real and with the archeological museum and park, its well worth a visit. You can stay in the stylish bedrooms in the B and B and receive the best hospitality. Highly recommended!Thank you Valerie. We hope too see you again soon!!!

The atmosphere of the dining room is very nice. The dishes we received were beautiful, tasty and innovative, including a fava flan! The chef, Antonio and his talented, young kitchen staff took the time to visit our table and speak to us about the meal. Overall, a wonderful, intimate, customer-centered dining experience in this small Italian town.

We just happened upon this wonderful small restaurant and were thrilled with our lunch there. We had been looking for authentic fresh antipasti (hard to find) and boy were we pleased with our choice. We got served more than 9 different antipasti all to die for. Freshly prepared and ALL very good. To finish the meal, the owner served free limoncello and bitter (orange) digestif. We highly recommend that restaurant. Worth the detour if you are in these necks of the woods.
