In a saturday night we went out for dinner and decided for Selvole. What a delight! A warm welcome and lovely menu. Although at first we were into more 'serious' food, chef Giuseppe convinced us to try his 'croccante' pizza. I'm still glad we did! Super crispy and fresh ingredients, a must try!

We were travelling from one meeting in Castel Goffredo to another in Pizzighettone. Just coincidentially we happenned to stop in this village. There are only two restaurants. One is closed. So we were forced to go to La Crepa. It turns out that it was an old and famous place both for locals and visitors from other towns. They are also part of a restaurant group representing local, traditional food with freshest ingredients. I am not sure abou the name but it maybe something like Historic Italian Restaurants; don't rely on this name. Weather was great so we directly sat outside. Started with onion soup, which was delicious. Then wanted to share a tortelli, which they gladly did and tasted just fantastic. Finally we picked a fish. Having grown on Aegan costs and now living in Istanbul, we are kind of spoiled when it comes to fresh fish and I started asking questions. Young guy - shame on me I did not get his name but son of one of the owners - interrupted me and ran inside only to walk out with several fishes in a plate. Started explaining patiently. We picked Char. Ok, you can hardly compare sweet water fishes with wild sea fish but one needs to set expectations right. It was cooked to perfection and served carefully to our plates, will add a picture. Our young attendant asissted us to choose great wines to taste. Just tell him what you like he will guide you and trust him. We finished with semifreddo and coffee. This was a lunch; excellent from beginning to end in a little village like this. Just go into the restaurant, look around, there are pictures on the walls. Visit their wine shop and cellar under the building. We bought few bottles of wine and left this little village with a smile.

Very cosy and elegant, highly recommended for those who appreciate little details. The owners and staff are pleasant and make your dinner just perfect.Ideal for foodies and (of course) wine lovers -really a great choice of premium wines to choose from-.One of those places you cannot forget! Wish there was a direct flight to Canneto so I could go every weekend :)

This 1925 three star Michelin is a stunner in every respect. I tried the degustation menu and I am at a loss of words to describe what I ate. Service was at its finest. Never seen such a collection of wine before. They even have a helipad for those who fly into this tiny village in the countryside. Itâs expensive of course and if you can afford it, the memories would last a lifetime. My salute to the Santini family that runs this restaurant.

A distanza
The food is good, the people friendly and leisurely. One of this place you go to eat, better ask for the things that are not on the menu, and have a glass of wine and some good talk without some pressuring you for ordering more food or more drinks or standing at your table with the bill in his hands. Do not expect to have your food on the table in minutes - they take their time. But you will love it ;-)

One would never expect a place of such quality in such a really strange neighbourhood. The place is located on the second floor of a former textile factory. That gives you the advantage of good parking. The access to the place feels somewhat awkward and one would expect some kind of self service rather than a really nice place to eat. The decor feels as if the owners could not decide on a what they want. Anything between kitsch and industrial. Kind of funny. On a cold day take a light sweater with you. The extremely high ceilings and large windows make the place feel not sufficiently heated.Prices are reasonable and the service is really attentive and kind. When in the area give the place a try. It is worth it!
