The BEST Plitvice Lakes home base!
Reviewed By Adventurer310309My family of 5 stayed at B&B Plitvica Lodge (3 rooms) for two nights this week, and so far it has been the highlight of our 2 week tour of Croatia, exceeding my expectations in every way. The Lodge is perfectly situated a short walk from the least crowded entrance to the park, is beautifully appointed throughout with surprisingly lovely details, and still feels like an old-time, cozy, rustic mountain lodge. Complete, comfortable relaxation after a big day of hiking the park. Best of all was our host, Karlo, who along with his family were extremely attentive to every need, the picture of true hospitality. We also enjoyed fabulous, traditional Croatian home cooking, very nice wines, and oh the Rakija! Highly recommended, I would not hesitate to return. Hvala, Karlo and Martina!

An ideal base for exploring Plitvice Lakes
Reviewed By christinajane2015We spent two nights at Villa Nena and would highly recommend it. Nena is a wonderful host and it's good value for money. She cooked us delicious meals both nights and breakfasts were very good. A short walk leads to glorious viewing platforms over the park and steps down to the lakes - a bit arduous coming back up but easily managed. There are also walks up through forests and high meadows so it's a good base for walking.

Exceeds Expectations
Reviewed By Judy15066We had reservations for three rooms at the House by the River. Unexpectedly, the bridge accessing the hotel was under closed and under construction. Ducan and his brother did everything they could to help us arrive at our destination and then made our stay perfect. Although the exterior of the house is unassuming, the rooms within have been renovated and were lovely. Ducan and his brother prepared an excellent breakfast for us and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay at the House by the River and highly recommend it.

Very nice place
Reviewed By bozi226Our 1-night stay was very pleasant. The house is very near to the entrance 2 - Plitvicka Jezera and you can just walk from the house to the entrance to visit the lakes. We had a private parking in front of the house and our room on the first floor was very comfortable, spacious, calm and very clean. Mr Milos is extremely polite, he gave us very useful and important information about the lakes and helped us in everything. We were very happy and safe. VERY GOOD WIFI, so if you have to use the Internet, as we had, the Guesthouse Nenad is good solution for stay.

Very nice owner, clean house
Reviewed By Michaela VStayed there for 2 nights. The owner Milan is a very friendly and funny guy that likes to offer his new guests a shot from his best bottle ;) he also gave me good advice on how to get around and where to park my car near the entrance to the NP for free. The apartment was very clean, kitchen and a spacious living room included.

molto piacevole ma evitare la colazione.
Reviewed By alpin_wolfla colazione è purtroppo cara per quello che offre (8€/testa per obbiettivamente poca roba), la metà sarebbe stata più corretta. la struttura è ubicata in un posto abbastanza complicato da raggiungere - sopratutto la sera e di notte, polli noi - ma è immersa nel verde ed è molto moderna. Il bagno era eccellente e la tranquillità - oltre che il buon parcheggio - era favorevole al riposo. La proprietaria è stata gentile.

Reviewed By Stefania PAmbiente completamente ristrutturato, con arredo moderno di buon gusto, peccato siano riportare le vecchie foto. Camere pulite e ottima disponibilità del proprietario. Qualità prezzo ottimo, posizione comoda per visitare i laghi. Wi fi nelle Camere. Lo consiglio.
