Gyu-Kaku is a Japanese/ korean resturant that serves korean bbq. Itâs good for groups of friends. For folks that do not like bbq, there is good selection of cooked food too! We ordered kimchi stew, dumplings, grilled prawns with olive oil and Korea stone rice. Super tasty and inexpensive! Highly recommended!

I have frequented this restaurant several times and always appreciated the courteous and friendly service. The food is always good.....especially if you are looking to break away from the everyday American fare. My brothers' family came to visit and I knew that Ban Zai was a place that I would like to take them to.....not just for the good Hibachi food but also the show that accompanies it: they expertly toss knives around, break an egg in midair with a knife, and fire up the grill (as shown in my photo). It is an exciting change of pace and my family got a big kick out of it. Most importantly....we all enjoyed the food and I heard that my niece still talks about Ban Zai.

Located in a small strip mall, this restaurant could do well to invest in better signage. Interior design and decoration are nothing special. Menu seemed thorough, but wasn't as helpful as I would have liked. Service was good, but a bit weird. Food was surprisingly delicious... all four entrees were quite good. Appetizers were also very good... especially the pork "sandwich".Read some of the other reviews about service and authenticity. While we have no knowledge of true ramen tradition, the food here tasted great. We will probably return, but with a bit of apprehension considering some of the reviews and their health and cleanliness claims.

My wife and I took our three grown grandsons out for dinner on Friday night. They all love sushi, so we decided to give Tsuru a try. We made Open Table reservations and found a 'reserved' sign on out table when we arrived. Nice touch. The dining room is decorated in a modern style, but was very comfortable and inviting. We started our meal with a variety of soups (my Tom Yum was spicy hot and delicious) and salads, followed by an assortment of sushi rolls. I had a Spicy Girl roll that just melted in my mouth. We then ate our way through an assortment of bowls, including chicken udon, shrimp soba, pad see ew and pad Thai. And just for good measure we shared an order of shrimp and vegetable tempura. All the food was delicious, the portions were huge and we were all stuffed by the end of the meal. As for the service, it was excellent. The servers were very attentive, clearing the dishes, filling the water and tending to all our needs, always with a friendly smile. The manager (owner?) stopped by several times to make sure things were going well. Tsuru may become our Japanese restaurant of choice when visiting New York. We certainly will return in the future.

This restaurant feels like a hidden gem in Hartsdale. You walk in, right past the chef preparing the sushi and are seated. Service is good, place always has people in it. I love the bento box meals personally, they give you a little of everything.

Kyo Sushi is probably the most accommodating restaurant I have ever been to. I love California rolls, but am allergic to avocado. Here, it is not a problem, as they make up special California rolls for me substituting cucumber for the avocado. The Bento Boxes are amazing, and contain everything you could want, including Tempura and California Rolls. It comes with both miso soup and salad, and is a great value. Everything is fresh and made to order. I recently had a birthday lunch there, and for dessert, they brought out a wonderful fried ice cream dessert with a candle to sing Happy Birthday. Derrick, one of the owners, is friendly and welcoming, and whenever we come in, he remembers "no avocado" before I can even tell him. Their noodle dishes are also some of the best we have ever had, especially the Udon noodles with seafood. I would definitely recommend Kyo Sushi.

For years, we had been regular luncheon guests at the Fujinoya Restaurant. The quality of the Japanese cuisine was always excellent. Being a Japanese family operated restaurant, the menu and food maintain the same. Only one advise, do prepare to be at the restaurant before 12:00 if you want to secure a table. No reservation is accepted.
