When in Davao or visiting Davao, this is a must-try Japanese resto in town! It's a fairly new place in Mabini Complex which has become so popular with a Davao food blogger's recent raving reviews. It didn't disappoint! Good thing we were early middle of last week for a lunch so we got seats! The place gets so full fast so better go early or have a reservation. Food was good, especially the ramen - it's so rich, tasty & flavorful. I'm not really a ramen lover but I liked it. We ordered the Pork Tonkotsu Ramen. We also tasted the Chicken Katsudon and it was perfectly golden, tender and delicious, too. But what made the lunch perfect was the dessert they call "mille crepe" - a 20-crepe layered cake with so light pastry creme and not at all too-sweet. It was heavenly! Two-thumbs up! This is one of their most requested cakes/desserts and we were lucky! Their meals can be shared, too which I did with my husband. What I didn't like maybe is that the place is so small so it is kinda' tight to move, stand and walk if the place is fully occupied. I guess the food compensates for that and it means MORE customers so that's a GOOD problem! :) The other dishes are definitely worth a try, too and we will be back soon.

Tsuru Restaurant is a well - established Japanese Restaurant in Davao City. The restaurant is just right across the famous People's Park and beside known hotels in Davao. Upon entering, you are greeted by smiling staff , they lead you to your table. Every Sunday, they have buffet. A long selection of foods like sushi, different maki but our favorite is their famous "Volcano roll" . You can also order unlimited "Beef Tepanyaki" which is also our favorite. Definitely a must try ! or if you like seafood, they have shrimp tempura and they also included crabs on their buffet. They also have a separate long selections of deserts and another table for juices and even unlimited ice cream ! I just hope that they have a bigger place, because it is quite a cramp in the restaurant. Their parking area is also too small that we need to double park. This place is always full especially on Sundays. Most of their customers are with their families , business associates or friends.

Yes, i have been a fan of this restaurant for 5 years already. However this is just my first time to share a review. We had a place to go to Davao that night as we came from a distant place. I promised my friends that we will go to this area early on as it is a must go reataurant. The restaurant offers an unlimited food treat to customers with a cost that is not that cheap. Well, it is a worth stay if you do as they offer such number of delicacies and menu. From Filipino dishes to others with notable Asian dishes. Sushi, Maki and related dishes are my favorites. A wide variety to choose to such as cakes, rice, halo2, ice cream, juice, fruit, desserts, crabs and many more. The unique thing is that you can cook by frying in the dining table as a flushed pan is situated. Hotdogs, meat, seafood, marinated meats are usually the ones to choose to cook into it. We had a fine time in this place, slowly eating and savoring the food. We controlled our eating as to stay for a longer time and not make our stomach easily full so we can add another. For such a number of food, we are full and have not eaten other delicious dishes. Dissapointing to ourselves becasuse we want to try the other delicious dishes but we are sure to come back to this place. Clean and sweet attending personnels. They also have this very good treat where , atleast a 4 member group has one member celebrating their birthday that month will have a free dining. There you have to pay only 3persons for that 4 member group. A good place for family and friends. Gonna come back soon.

We've been here before and the place hasn't changed. The sashimi is still very good, one of the best we've had. It's a very choice cut, fresh and flavorful. I'd recommend the sashimi and sushi sampler so you can try out several kinds.Highly recommended if you're looking for great Sashimi in Davao.

We used to frequent this restaurant for celebrating anniversaries, but after a couple of years. We brought some friends from out of town to this restaurant and boy was I in for a surprise. Their air conditioners were down. We finished the dinner with electric fans to help. To make it worse, this happened again, when I brought my mother and aunt. Though the food remains to be as good as it was before but things like air conditioning in a tropical country is a big deal and must not be overlooked.

Kaizen Davao is the 1st and the hippest Japanese Street dining in Davao City. Where there are lights, smokey nights, sushi platters, donburi, steaming ramen, bottles of beer, friendships and great time. Casual straight up Japanese street dining experience
if you've been to tambai in makati then you will enjoy this place as well, prices are a bit high for street dining but its worth the taste of the food and the ambiance my friends and I went there after samal island for dinner, we had the megapakyaw yakitori with 11 sticks of assorted yakitori, kaizen roll, california maki, I ordered gyudon and asked for scrambled egg but when it arrived, i had sunny side up egg, but they jst gave me additional scrambled egg, so ill still give it a high rating bec they corrected their mistake =) rolls prices are from 165 - 365 pesos, depending on the kinds of roll, limited tables so expect waiting time for you to be seated but service is fast enough, will definitely eat here when i go to davao again

The ultimate hotpot and grill experience
Dined here by accident though wanter to try for sometime already. Food was awesome! Their shabu shabu tastes good as well as their other dishes. The highlight for me way their thin pork belly! When grilled it was perfection! And i couldnt get enough. Lots to choose from. The only downside is their dessert. Not much choices and most of it was jud ok. Their staff was amazing. They attend to your every need and they anticipate it. All things considered, i would definitely comeback.FAQS:PRICES?-for weekdays and weekend dinner and week end lunch - 638-weekdays lunch - 538Promos?-visit their facebook page for regular updates
