Discover Restaurants offering the best Japanese food in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia. Bekasi City (Indonesian: Kota Bekasi, Sundanese: ᮊᮥᮒ ᮘᮨᮊᮞᮤ, Chinese: 勿加泗市) is a city in West Java, Indonesia, located on the eastern border of Jakarta within the Jakarta metropolitan region. It serves as a commuter city for Jakarta, although it has notable trade, business and processing industries. The borders for this city are Bekasi Regency at the north and east, Bogor Regency and Depok City at the south, as well as East Jakarta at the west. It is Indonesia's most populated incorporated suburban city to Jakarta, and one of the most populated worldwide, but still trails the likes of Incheon and Yokohama. The large number of multinational companies, has apparently attracted a lot of expatriates (mainly Japanese and Korean) to settle in Bekasi.

This medium sized Japanese restaurant is located in the Greenland International Industrial Centre complex serving many Japanese expats who work within the industrial complex. They offer a wide range of menu and includes daily specials. Prices are medium range.
At least three times we had dinner for special occasions with my office mates. It's delicious and fun.

Whilst this restaurant offers the usual Asian fayre of various fried dishes you can also get my favourite - fresh soup with rice. Select your own fresh vegetables and simmer them in a very tasty broth, when cooked to perfection, eat with rice - perfection.
This is my first review as Bekasi citizen. Koma Junkyard located 2 km east from Summarecon Mall Bekasi, just across the river from Rumah Duka Dharma Agung. Established late 2014, Koma Junkyard opens in the evening till midnight and can be categorized as hawker center since there are variety of food stalls available. The place has multiple point of interest, the riverside, the big tree, the food truck and usually crowded with young adults. My favorite food are nasi goreng and fu yung hai. If you want something lighter, try the dimsum. For drinks i usually go with coke float or lychee tea.

It's all about Udon. This specialty restaurant focused mainly on serving various kind of udon, with some variety of soba and tempura / fried food (vegetables, shrimp, etc). The Udon itself taste great, the texture of the udon is just right and the taste of the soup is also tasty (I prefer clear soup than curry though). It also has a halal certification so it would be fine for moslem to eat here. The price of the food are more or less similar to other japanese restaurant, although I personally think that the price of Kitsune udon (my personal favorite) or plain udon was higher than other competitors. In conclusion, it is a nice restaurant with tasty food and cozy atmosphere.

Whenever I am craving for sushi, I must look for Sushi Tei. My family especially my hubby and daughter really love their kirishima and nigiri sushi. My choice is Chuka idako, Sukiyaki with well done egg and their salad. The ocha can be refilled too.
