We got two small pizzas to go. My wife got the "The Queen of Westfield" Pizza which has chicken, eggplant, garlic, onion and a white sauce. It was very garlicky, but she liked it. I got a Buffalo Chicken Pizza which was good. The only thing I didn't like was the crust may have been frozen. It was thin and tasted blah. It looked like it was machine made. The sauce was good as were the toppings. I was disappointed by the crust.
After having tried Alessio's several times, only because of the convenience, I've decided that if I want a grinder this isn't the place. Had a Sausage grinder a few days. Wanted a Hot Sausage but they do not have that, but they did offer to put red pepper on it....no thanks. Got the grinder home to discover that there wasn't no more than a drop of sauce on it...kind of dry. My wife had a turkey club wrap. Same thing, dry and tasted stale. We have however had decent take-out dinners from there. The portions we average but they forgot the roll. A dinner without a roll? We have always found their salads to be fresh. Prices are a little high for the quality offered. But I guess you have to expect a pay the price for convenience. Beats Micky D's.

The pursuit for the perfect pizza is over! As a locally-owned pizzeria, Elm Pizza can give you the best cuisine possible in a place the feels like family. Dine in, take out or have our dishes brought straight to your door! We have the pizzas and wings tha
Elm pizza makes the #1 best double cheese burger in town. The wings are very good too but for a pizza joint the burgers here are the best. Glad you're a fan! Those burgers are one of our best-kept secrets, but we're glad somebody loves them so much, and I appreciate hearing about it from you! Same for the wings -- thanks for all the kind words about everything! Hope we see you again soon!Best,Nick, Owner

Richard's will make it to its 50th Birthday next year. Every time I stop by to bring a Grinder/Submarine/Hero home, call it what you will, their hearty sandwiches represent good taste and value. The service is cheerful, the place is clean, and one usually has to wade in through an array of contractor's vans and pick-up trucks. With over three dozen varieties of sandwiches posted, and perhaps other permutations you might ask for, folks don't leave hungry. Their are soups, salads, pastas, chips and other foods prepared and a wide variety of soft drinks in their refrigerators. In my estimation, the best place for miles around for a satisfying sandwich.
I am in my 40's and have been coming here since my teens when I lived in Westfield. I always order a party-sized combination. It is my idea of pizza perfection. The crust, the toppings, sauce, cheese, everything is great. I live 100 miles away now but whenever I am back in Westfield, I get one and devour it.

Since my last review 2 and a half years ago, and several lunches in between, nothing much has changed. Decent quality, reliable service, modest prices, no surprises. An establishment that has been around since 1976 continues to offer the Southern Italian food many of us grew up with. The red sauce is fresh, the lasagna is home made, the cannoli come from La Fiorentina Bakery in Springfield. What's not to like?

Great spot for a tall cold beverage, fantastic salad and delicious thin crust pizza. If you want free entertainment get a seat at the bar to watch them with their craft of making the pizzas and cooking them in the brick oven right there in front of you. Or there is plenty of other seating for a larger group through out the restaurant. The entire restaurant has floor to ceiling glass windows in the heart of downtown Westfield. Great scene to be seen. As for the food, I feel it is fairly priced for the quality and quantity in the area. Been there dozens of times, always with the intentions of a cold draft or two with a salad and pizza but their specials are so good, that sometimes I get a curve ball thrown at me and go for one of those dishes instead. They also have an assortment of desserts but I've yet to leave room for one of the Italian desserts -Tiramisu or cannoli. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong here.

I've ben to this restaurant a few times and I find them to be pretty consistent. The only con was the house salad I ordered with fresh mozzarella. It was like they emptied the entire carton of lettuce on my plate with a drip of balsamic dressing and few pieces of onion and tomato. It was literally a bunch of lettuce only lol. Pizza was nothing to write home about.
