Tjøme (Norwegian pronunciation: [ˈçøːmə]) is an island in Færder, and a former municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Tjøme. The parish of Tjømø was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Tjome was the childhood holiday destination for writer Roald Dahl.

My husband and I enjoyed a good fishmeal this evening at Esmeraldas. From the winelist it looked like the price of a glass of whitewine was about NOK 100. I just asked for a glass and they served me half a glass of chablis, no one mentioned the price: NOK 139,- or 16 US$... The food was tasty there, but the owner is much too greedy.Hi Kristin,Iâm glad to hear about your nice meal, but not so about your experience with the wine. Our waiters are not to serve a more expencive wine than our house wine if just asked for a glas of wine. Iâll make shure they get the message again.

We had our business lunch here. Perfect salat with chicken, ceasar salat and they had no problem serving our "gluten patient". The service is fast, even in the "rush hour", and the athmosphere very relaxed. They have recently expanded the facility with maybe 20 seats. One can also buy homemade food here.

Var spent på nyåpningen på Framnes og hadde egentlig sett frem til dette ettersom vi bor på Vesterøya. Og for å starte med det positive - flotte lokaler, som fremstår mer mot restaurantstandard enn gatekjøkken. Men så var det maten da. Vi bestilte kebab salat (ekte kebabkjøtt), med et stykke pitabrød til 170,- inkl drikke. Dette smakte virkelig ikke bra, dette med unntak av pitabrødet. Sett opp mot pris hadde vi forventet noe mer spennende enn en haug isbergsalat med litt mais og noen skiver tomat. Hva med å friske det hele opp med frisk paprika, rødløk, jalapeños el.l? Kjøttet var knusk tørt og den hvite sausen smakte veldig eddik. Kom inn sulten og vi gikk dessverre sultne da vi rett og slett ikke klarte å svelge ned.

Its a good eating joint, but expensive. I had the mozzarella with cherry tomatoes starter, and the cheek of pork as main course. The meat was very tender. The wine selection was ok.

Pir 4 is a floating pier - so the location is really good, for a beer or for eating pizzas. Their pizza is italian style, and the best thing is that they have not only the standard red pizza sauce on all their pizzas, you can also order from their range of "white pizzas". They use fresh ingredients.Tip; Order something with truffles.Tip; Try the oils on the table, they are super-delicious!

Fantastic value (the large pizza is more than enough for two) and great food. The man making the pizza was a star, a warm welcome, great smile, super friendly and helpful. A wide range of toppings and the pizza had a lovely crisp base but never dry. Excellent kebabs and fries also available and they won't break the bank. They also deliver to the bar next door if you want a pleasant drink with some great food.

My wife and I went here on a date night and enjoyed our evening. The ravioli with beef and mushrooms in a cream sauce was very nice. The bufalina pizza from the wood fired oven had an amazing crust and very tasty toppings. The house red wine can also be recommended. They also have order out and we have really enjoyed picking up some pizzas from them before. Definitely recommend a visit for a nice evening out.

Beautifully situated in the Hvasser harhour, can be difficult to get table on hot summer days. Great for all kind of occations (very unformal though). The swedish waiter was very nice and worked as fast as he could running up and down the stairs with pizzas and drinks.Great pizza, garlic saus and pizza saus incl in the price on all American style pizzas.Serves the beer in 0,5 litre glasses, which is rare in Norway
