The food here is what you would expect at every other Olive Garden restaurant. However, on all of the multiple occasions I have been here for lunch, the service has always been very slow. Even with an upfront warning that we are office workers on a time crunch (an hour) and ordering simple menu items, we have never made it back to the office on time.
People rave about this place but I'm not a fan. Too much cheese and too pricy. I had high expectations for this place because people talk highly of it but maybe that set my expectations too high. Not a fan. Won't be going back. Just a mediocre pizza joint.
Authentic Chicago style pizza parlor. Serving Pizza, Ribs, Pasta, Ribs, Chicken, Shrimp, Fish and Sandwiches. Take out or delivery only. Established in 1959 - family owned - same location
Made a visit to Harvey IL for a funeral, so to make this visit upbeat we stopped by Geneo's to get a pizza. My husband was talking about how his dad would always bring in a sausage pizza from Geneo's late at night, so it was only fitting to pick one up in his remembrance. The pizza:We placed a call to get a medium thin crust sausage and cheese pizza to go. It took about 30 minutes for the pizza to be ready, and when we got it you could tell that it was fresh from the oven. I'm from VA so the cheese, sauce and the sausage tasted different from the pizzas I am use to. The cheese tasted awesome. I am not sure what kind of cheese it was, but I liked it. The sauce on the pizza reminded me of true marinara sauce that you eat with cheesesticks. Very different from the sauce they use on your big pizza chains, and they used a lot of it. Since the pizza was extra saucy, it didn't really have that crispy crust, and was messy to eat. The sausage that they used was good, but it wasn't awesome. A couple of slices I ate was just plain cheese pizza, and I actually liked that better. This was also my first time seeing pizza come in a bag. When my husband brought the pizza to the car, I thought we had to wait for the pizza and he was bringing back some bread sticks. In all I would probably only order a cheese thin crust from here, and that is saying a lot because I am not a cheese only person. I liked the pizza, but I wouldn't rank it my go to pizza spot. Thanks for taking the time to stop in. Our condolences about your father. Pizza is truly a regional food - every where you go, it's different. We take pride in our pies and make each one of them from scratch with real ingredients. The cheese we used is pure mozzarella that we shred ourselves. Our sauce is also made from scratch - sorry if there was too much for your liking - next time we'll go easier!

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner here. They have a back room that we had to ourselves for most of the time. The wait staff was a bit slow but eh food made up for it. The lasagna was out of this world and a huge portion.
Home of the original XL NY Slice. Since 1956, Sbarro has been serving the XL NY Slice. Starting with made-daily hand stretched dough, San Marzano style sauce and topped with 100% Whole Milk Mozzarella cheese.
My wife and I stopped here for a quick breakfast sandwich, as this was an easy exit from the expressway. We both had a Breakfast Calzone that was quite good and was reasonably priced. Service was good and employees were friendly.

I really enjoy this pizza, however, it is a little greasy. If you are really health conscience, it's best you skip this one, it's full of calories. The customer service needs a little improvement. I once lived in the area. Now I bypass other pizzerias' just to get to this one.
When you want a great thin crust pizza this is the place to go. Fresh ingredients and the sauce is the best. They also have a cookie and ice cream dessert that my friends ordered and we shared it, but not sure what it was called. It was to die for.

On a recent trip "back home" we had to make a stop where pizza is "heaven"! For over 30 years we have enjoyed the sausage and mushroom pizza at Aurelioâs in Homewood...thereâs nothing else like it. The sauce , the cheese, the atmosphere it all adds up to excellence. More than a dozen years ago we moved to Memphis where they donât know "pizza". Memphis is BBQ, not pizza. We even brought Aurelioâs back to Memphis with us!Whether itâs just you or a group you canât go wrong with the hospitality or the pizza at this iconic location.
