My wife and I had the the 25 EURO vegetarian sampler for two. This included raw, grilled, pickled, and fried veggies and sauces in a Mediterranean style. Very nice and enthusiastic server. Nice indoor and large outdoor eating area off the street in private patio. They serve wine, beer , and desserts . Loved the dessert sampler. Thanks a lot for your comment :) It was a pleasure to meet you. See you soon ^^

This place deserves its excellent reviews for the quality of the food.Service is a little sketchy but if you can cope with that then definitely give it a try. We had 2 pasta dishes and both were divine. A carafe of house red at â¬8 was very drinkable and the coffee ice cream was strongly flavoured and delicious.

We've just returned from a week in a bed and breakfast in Vedene ( just outside Avignon ) called La Maison De Mamie - please see my review of this lovely B&B. The first evening we were tired from the journey and wanted a local restaurant so our hosts Andre and Jany recommended La GioiA, just 2 minutes walk away. We ended up eating there 3 times during the week and can't recommend it enough. The owner ( Frank ) opened the restaurant just over a year ago and it's become very popular especially with the locals which is always a good sign. Frank is a delightful young man who speaks quite good English and has a great sense of humour. He's created a warm, friendly atmosphere and does the majority of the cooking himself. The menu is made up of a large selection of Pizzas cooked in his wood oven, tasty salads, a few other specials and some lovely desserts. It is also very good value for money. As it's a small restaurant it's a good idea to book.

What a gem of a find in the backstreets of Avignon! Persevere to find this small restaurant in the back streets of Avignon, it is well worth the visit. Very busy but small pizzeria / Italian eatery. Excellent food and equally good service. Definitely recommended and worth the effort which is out of the tourist trap. Large sized pizzas and carbonara served in the frying pan which is quite novel. Very reasonable prices too.

A crazy-busy night, at the height of the Avignon festival, and we were still seated quickly and served promptly, with friendly, courteous service. Kudos to the hard-working staff for keeping it all going! Delicious pizza and good value on the rosé we selected.
My wife and I have been in there several times and every time we go in there the owner speaks to us and treat us like family worth the trip and the food is excellent

For those of you who know how stressful a trip to Ikea can be, there is nothing better than finding a restaurant which serves a great lunch and glass of wine! We have eaten here half a dozen times at lunch over the past 6 weeks as a couple and with our children and have had a fantastic meal each time. 1/2 a large pizza (theres a choice of toppings) with a large green salad for 13⬠is great value for money. We will be going back there ;-)

We came accross this small shop unexpectedly on a sunday when lots of restaurants were closed. The outside doesnt really pay justice to the quality you will find there. It looks like a small dodgy take away pizza. However the reviews found on tripadvisor made us confident. After looking at the menu, we decided to stay and eat there. Its not a restaurant but you can find a few seats at the counter. The owner is really welcoming and so nice. You can see her working on her pizza by the oven. The pizzas were all incredibly tasty with lots of high quality ingredients! The dough is fresh and crispy...probably one of the best pizza ive ever eaten! The phone kept ringing and the waiting list was fully booked for one hour and a half...and people would wait for it!!! Just to give u an idea how good it is !!hello. Thank you very much for your opinion on my pizzeria
