Take one step inside the door of La Grotta Ristorante and you will be transported to Northern Italy. The smell of roasted garlic and rich flavors of Italian cuisine is irresistible. In true tradition of Italian hospitality, La Grotta provides guests with
It's worth every penny and calorie to dine here. A girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves and it was a wonderful evening. The ambiance is very nice and our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, patient with us while we asked questions and decided. The courses came out at the perfect pace. We both chose the 4-course dinner. It's a great way to enjoy many different dishes. The mozzarella salad with peppers and eggplant (Torretta) was the best I've ever had. The linguine with clams, shrimp, and scallops was delicious (Linguine alla Scogliera); it was a little spicy and I loved that. I ordered the ribeye with the gorgonzola and pistachio sauce (Bistecca di Bufalo) and my friend ordered the filet with that same sauce substituted on hers. Wonderful! We both ordered rose wine and it was priced reasonably, like you'd expect. We took our dessert to go after all of that food but it was great this morning (Tiramasu). It's a pricey dinner but worth the treat and the course dinners really make it special.Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review and rating about your dining experience. We are so happy to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your evening from start to finish. (We agree with you about taking home one of our homemade desserts for breakfast the next day. What a perfect accompaniment with a cup of coffee in the morning!) We sincerely hope you will treat yourself again and return to dine with us very soon.

My daughter and I absolutely loved the pizza here! We just had a cheese pizza, There's many different kinds to choose from, but we just had a cheese pizza. It was absolutely delicious, and I've been craving it ever since. I also was told that their barbecue chicken pizza is a favorite. I will definitely go back here next time I'm in Richmond!

The bang shrimp was delicious. The chicken marsala is served on top of noodles which absorbs all the sauce. This reduces the flavor unless you're one that orders it for the pasta. Stick with their specialties for a better dining experience.

As this was recommended by local and trip advisor review good we are here..we have eaten..and we are wondering what in the world were people thinking who ate here???? First of all, service grear and friendly...the end....not..soup was wedding soup, not bad, clam chowder a rating of 2 on scale 1 to 5. Original white pizza like eating flavorless paper. Ordered with anchovies and still tasteless. Ordered side of anchovies and got lityle container if absolutely almost petrified anchovies..even salt and hot peppers didnt help. Husband had seafood mannicotti that looked like it was from one of the Gordon Ramsey restaurants gone bad shows! Sauce or gravy, depending where you grew up, should have been red..it was brownish red It looked like something pulled from a plastic bag and nuked. Husbands rating...another 2 out if 5. Absolute awful!!!!

We went to spend our gift certificate at the Olive Garden in the White OakVillage (the newest site in the Richmond area). The atmosphere is that of a typical Italian Restaurant, with a family-friendly atmosphere. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and immediately seated. We dined on gluten-free Rotini with Marinara Sauce (scrumptious!), Spaghetti with Meat Sauce (tasty!), with a delicious salad for two (appetizing!), and beverages. The wait staff was friendly â generous portions for the cost â food delicious âservice good â plus gluten free menu items! This restaurant has it all!

Fresh Italian food made with quality ingredients, served delightfully warm and with relatively large portion sizes. Lasagna comes highly recommended. Clean (although restroom overly scented, like with air fresheners). Friendly staff. Close and free parking. Near several hotels but in front of one that didn't look too savory.

I go here very often because the food is absolutely amazing and always has something new to try. Antonio is the best and treats everyone that comes in as if they were family. The Pasta Margo is AMAZING!!!! Also, on the event side they did my rehearsal dinner and my wifeâs little cousin had a party here for his graduation party. Service is top notch!
