We happened upon this restaurant in our hotel Sunday morning. We wanted to get a gluten free breakfast- but alas we resigned ourselves to going downstairs at our hotel. This must have been when fate intervened. We had the sweetest waiter and damnit if I canât remember his name but when I asked him if they had any gf items- he made my weekend by saying- we have a whole menu. I was shocked by the array of choices offered To us on this glorious menu - pancakes, French toast, toast, BREAD all gluten free! Not only that we were told that it would be provided to us on the buffet- the same price as the regular buffet! All you gf people out there know we always have to pay more for our food allergies but not here. Itâs almost celebrated. I say that necause the su chef Eugene cape out tonite table tonpersonally let us know he could take care of shy of our food allergies AND could make just about anything we wanted!! This was just like music to our ears & mouths. We absolutely stuffed ourselves but couldnât have been happier. So happy in fact we stayed longer on Sunday afternoon delaying our drive home in order to have another incredibly decadent & satisfying meal at Zocca- the lasagna made w polenta was the most amazing dish we had but honestly EVERYTHING was incredible. And once again Eugene made it happen! Iâll tell you- the hotel itself was great, but even if I donât stay there I will definitely be going back to Zocca & Eugene- where our gluten intolerances werenât an inconvenience to this brilliant chef, but embraced as a challenge to try & make the foods we love & have to live without, gluten free masterpieces!!

Had a great experience at this restaurant. We were celebrating two of our friends birthdays and Jacob did an outstanding job. Not only was the service quick and efficient but he accommodated us having a birthday cake delivered at the perfect moment. Unlike other restaurants who charge a "plate fee", they allowed us to bring our cake in and provided us the proper utensils to partake. As a bonus, many of our meals were buy one, take one home, so it was an added bonus to all. I would definitely recommend visiting and if you have Jacob serving you, tell him we said hi and job well done!

Fresh, modern cuisine from Spain, France and Italy. Paella, Filet Mignon, Frutti Di Mare and much more! Now open for Brunch Sat and Sun. Do not miss out on our desserts either
We were recommended this small bistro from our hotel concierge, and it was a phenomenal experience. The arepas and tequeno appetizers were tasty and just the right portion size. I had a great filet and my date loved, loved, LOVED the Red Snapper entree. They have a small but varied wine list, and great service. The owner stopped by a few times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, and, the entire experience was a solid a+. It can get a bit cold in there, but other than that, the decor, food and service were top notch.

Our group of six went for dinner and really loved it. Service was very good and not overbearing. We started with appetizers, eggplant spread with cocoa and spices - wow! Also olives and goat cheese with soft bread. Our orders varied from spinach dumplings to watermelon salad to gorgonzola gnocchi to a penne pasta with a gin tomato cream sauce! Italian salad was good, and we also had eggplant parmesan and pork chops, all delicious. The wine list was good, if a little overpriced. Although, the Barolo was excellent. Overall, spectacular food, presentation and service. I have read complaints about noise, but it wasn't bad. I guess you should go during the week if noise is a problem. We highly recommend this restaurant, and it is a fine addition to the San Antonio experience in food.

Dough Pizzeria Napoletana is an authentic Neapolitan Pizzeria featuring two ovens that cook your pizza at 900 degrees + in 90 seconds! We make our own fresh Mozzarella daily. We source as many of our products as possible from local farmers and import most
We had a wonderful experience here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was a little fancier than I had thought but not presumptuous. The mozzarella made in house was the best I have ever had and the pizza crust with garlic was a perfect pair. The pizza was cooked perfectly with a crisp crust and fresh ingredients with a nice acidic sauce.

Bella was located on the riverwalk for many years but a building renovation moved them up on Houston street. They have more room than before and the food is still as good as ever. They claim they serve Southern European but mostly Mediterranean cusine and there is not a bad thing on the menu. A highly recomended restaurant in downtown San Antonio.
