On our first evening in Bad Oeynhausen we were fortunate enough to be dismissed from the restaurant we had booked to eat in (see review of Hotel Stickdorn) and so walked across the street to be welcomed warmly into this fabulous Ristorante Paradiso. The restaurant was almost full but the staff were kind and friendly and quickly found us a table. The table was beautifully set with a red rose and a single tall candle and we were provided water and fresh bread and a sample of a bruchetta. The service was prompt and pleasant and the waitress also interpreted the German menu where required. The food was generously proportioned and good value with complementary grappa with the check. It was a treat to have such friendly and kind service and to be so welcomed. We would definitely go back if we should find ourselves in this town again.

Da ich für einen Geschäftstermin am Vorabend anreisen musste und Hunger hatte bin ich durch Zufall im Sale e Pepe gelandet. Die Trattoria war gut besucht und der Service freundlich, fast familiär. Wenn ich ein italienisches Restaurant zum ersten Mal besuche wähle ich immer den Hauswein. Denn wenn dieser keine gute Qualität hat, kann man in der Regel den Rest auch vergessen. Der Hauswein war solide und gut trinkbar. Die bestellte Lasagne war ebenfalls von guter Qualität. Die Karte ist überschaubar, was mir persönlich gut gefällt. Alles in allem kann ich die Trattoria weiter empfehlen.

We tried the buffet formula and were not disappointed as with most buffets. The formula is surprising and makes you think you designed your own menu, but in reality an excellent chef has designed the tastes. Very friendly staff and excellent service.

Cosimo Feinkost Laden ist zu100% Italienisch und für jeden Feinschmecker was dabei u.a biete er erstklassisches Essen an die natürlich hausgemacht zu bereit werden ich habe aus Zeitdruck bloà Antipasti Mixo Bruschetta/Tonno und die hausgemachte Lasagne nach Rezept aus Omas Zeiten gegessen natürlich sind mehr Gerichte vorhanden endlich mal ein Laden wo man richtig gut essen kann und eine Auswahl sehr guter Produkte ich kann ihn nur empfehlen ein muss für jeden Feinschmecker Bravissimo Cosimo

The restaurant is located by the market place in an alley. They have a couple of outdoor tables. Inside it is fairly small with a two floor layout. Service was good. I tried Tomato Soup as the starter and the Parma Pizza as the main. The soup was great, but the pizza was not up to expectation, The crust was too thick and the parma ham did not taste perfect.

Excellent Food, tolles Ambiente ... Nur manchmal, wenn zu voll ist ein bisschen zu laut und unangenehm. Aber sonsten alles ist super und gut vorbereitet. Excellent Food, have really good atmosphere. But sometimes when they are fully booked, Little Bit so loud. But After all, everything was Fine, and highly recommended for the best dine for Italian Food Even just for two Or with your Family.
