Niedzica [ɲeˈd͡ʑit͡sa], (Slovak: Nedeca, German: Netzdorf, Hungarian: Nedec) is a resort town in Nowy Targ County of Lesser Poland province, Poland, located on the banks of Lake Czorsztyn. It is famous for Niedzica Castle, also known as Dunajec Castle, an important centre of Polish-Hungarian relations built between the years 1320 and 1326 on foundations of a prehistoric roost. Originally, the village almost exclusively inhabited by the Slovak ethnic group (part of Hungary, between 1939 and 1945 belonged to Slovakia) was in 1920 and again in 1945 affiliated to Poland. The town lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Łapsze Niżne, 21 km (13 mi) east of Nowy Targ, and 75 km (47 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.

We dined there 2-3 times recently while staying at hotel Bania. The pasta's and deserts were of very good quality, but we can't stop feeling that we are paying for twice more people than we were. The cost of main courses is high, the cost of non-alcoholic drinks is very high, the children menu cost is a reap-off. We went there for the convenience, since the children playroom is next to this restaurant, but I never left feeling great about the overall experience.

Excellent service and great food served in a very traditionally styled restaurant. The restaurant is located right next to the cable car which takes you up the ski-slope to the entertainment area for children

Went on our first night on a friends recommendation. Wasn't disappointed the guy translated the menu for us. Food was great, only downside was a child running around all the time we were there which was a bit annoying. Apart from that would recommend a visit .

This restautant is located between bottom stations of many ski lifts at western slope of Wdżar mountain in Kluszkowce, so obviously it is mainly for skiers, but apparently it is open in summer as well, to feed those, who use local ski lifts for biking or just to enjoy views from top of the mountain easy way. I think it is the only restaurant in this ski complex. Located in the northern end of big building on the right side of the road. Nice interior, mainly in wood, to resemble mountain huts. Food not bad, with small but good choice. But it feels there like you stepped into a fast food outlet on train station, not a real restaurant. For some reason, even if we did get seated there, and spent reasonable time on our meals, it was more like eating in the rush, no atmosphere whatsoever. Possibly the higher floor was more like a proper restaurant, but the area on ground floor around the bar wasn't so much. Still good food.

During our stay we visited many times this new restaurant. Fortunately a very nice Polish-Italian couple decided to settle down in Sromowce and open this fantastic place.The Italian chef does everything what is possible to make you feel like in Italy, pizza and pasta are great. Genuine Italian products give an additional plus. The deserts are delicious as well. Thank you very much! Grazie mille! Dziękujemy!
