Shutters is definitely not Italian food, so not sure why someone called it that. The main feature is pork ribs, with your choice of a few flavors like soy sauce, salt pepper, garlic, basil, mustard, ketchup. Wasabi, or mayonnaise. (In Japanese, ããããã»å¡©ããããã»ã¬ã¼ãªãã¯ã»ãã¹ã¿ã¼ã, ã±ãã£ããã»ãã¨ãã¼ãºã»ããã³ã»ãã¸ã«å³). Other than the soy sauce ribs you can order half and half. One order is four decent sized ribs. The meat is very tender and almost falls off the bones. Of course, they have a good selection of other items too and salads can be ordered small or large sized. We had the spinach with bacon salad and shared a dish of vongole pasta. Leave room for their apple pie a la mode with your choice of sauce toppings. I had the caramel sauce, but the cinnamon sauce at the next table looked good too.Service is decent, but you have to ask for water. Beer and wine available - small selection, but adequate as we were there for lunch. They have a private dining room on the third floor for groups of four to six. Eight if you really squeeze in tight.

A friend and I did the set menu - very disappointing. Including drinks cost JPY140,000 (approx USD $140). Antipasto was acceptable, however pasta was gluggy and tiramisu dessert was a joke - just cream and little flavoring. I really felt ripped-off by this restaurant - suggest you eat elsewhere!

The best restaurant ever!!!The dishes, the prices, the services... as far as I know, this is the best restaurant in Tokyo. The first time I went here is 6 years ago to celebrate birthday with my family. I cannot forget the taste of the canard risotto. Since then, I've arrived here several times and gradually noticed how beautiful it is!! Enjoy your meal in the comfortable restaurant!

I'm a native of Louisiana. I love good LA food. Mothers is a good place for tourists. It is conveniently located right off Poydas. You will find plenty of choices on the menu that speak to Creole food.Don't let the looks get you. We did! The place is actually bigger than it looks.Yet, if you know Creole cooking, you will find the taste pretty bland. But, customer service is great and folks are friendly. That makes up for the shortcoming in taste. I would recommend it for novice to good LA cooking!!!

This pizza joint located in a very nice are near Inokashira park serves excellent Napoli style pizzas prepared with the traditional method and cooked in a typical brick oven. The pizza is good and filling and costs quite less than any other pizza restaurant that I know in Tokyo (I mean the good ones, not the imitations). Definitely recommended.

Three of us had dinner here on a Friday night. We reserved in advance, which I would definitely recommend. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated at a table for 6, and felt guilty until we noticed the place was mostly full of couples seated at tables for 4. In Tokyo, having extra space around you in a restaurant is a welcome luxury.For those who don't read Japanese, they did have an English menu with everything but the specials. The staff was patient in explaining things to us.We had a marinated fish appetizer which was delicious and was very generous in size. I had a whole fish which was very good. I had a glass of the house white -- it was very good and an American-sized pour.The restaurant is NON-SMOKING, which I definitely appreciated.Definitely recommend Talk Back.

Rigoletto is an upscale chain of restaurants located around the greater Tokyo area. This review is for Rigoletto Marunouchi Wine Bar located on the 7th floor of the Marunouchi building. Its about a 5 minute walk from Tokyo Station. I have been several times and have never been disappointed and always try to visit when I am in town. It's crowded and loud at times, but the food is amazing and the selection of wines is outstanding. Reservations are pretty much required at least several days in advance. For Friday and Saturday nights, you may want to think about at least a week in advance. The dishes are tapas style with enough for 2 people to share comfortably so each gets a little more than taste, but not so much that you're full after trying only 2 different things. The pasta dishes are always cooked to perfection. The pasta carbonara was very tasty. We also had an amazing brazed pork cheek dish that was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The wait staff is amazingly attentive even when it starts to get crazy busy. Its located on the 7th floor along with several other restaurants and a little bar we had a drink at before dinner. Highly recommended if you can get in. I also recommend asking the hotel to try and make the reservations for you.
