I've been here a couple times, but since the Northern Lights Shopping Center is still nearly an abandoned ghost town of dollar stores and potholes, I rarely go.But, I have to admit, it's really good. It's a bit pricier than other places, and I'd never sit down to pasta there again. last time, It was pizzeria grade pasta and sauce on styrofoam plates for Italian restaurant Prices. The very best New York style pizza in Pittsburgh, surprisingly is the Pizzeria in Whole Foods in Wexford. You have to eat it right there to get the full effect, and I'm going to the Anthony's Coal fired place in Cranberry later. Watch for that review ;)

I've been there maybe 5 times so far, and never had anything bad. Excellent soups. The steak sandwich is delicious and huge. Service is friendly, but it always takes at least 30 min for my food to arrive. Everything is made fresh, so it's worth it. If you only get a half hour for lunch, definitely call in your order. The food is great, prices are very reasonable. But anytime I'm there around lunch time, there's only a few people eating. I don't get it. They probably do a big takeout business with the courthouse nearby though.
It's not the same gyro the old man used to make before he turned it over to his son. But the son has taken it to a whole new level. They work hard and keep long hours, and I would recommend it to anybody that wants good food at a fair value. It is a very small place and booths are small.
beaver valley has many pizza shops but a new one in town is a stand out. mary janes stone baked pizza is delicious. The price is right and the menu has a lot of options. the hot sausage sandwich was a rope sausage with onions and peppers and it wasnât hot but it wasnât sweet. The pizza was incredible because the sauce wasnât too sweet yet it was plentiful and the cheese was smooth and milky. definitely give it a try. eat in or take out and they also deliver

This place was recommended and was our first time visit. We stopped in on a Saturday at lunch and were immediately seated. Although the menu offering was typical Italian fare, we opted for the recommended pizza which comes thin, deep dish or Sicilian. We ordered the large thin ($11) and were not disappointed. It was very tasty. For desert a homemade chocolate peanut butter pie ($3.50) was good, not the best, but acceptable. Perhaps a stronger 'flavor; would help (?). The waitress was attentive. The bathrooms are clean. It is worth stopping if you are in the area.

The pizza at Vesuvio's was excellent, the spicy sausage and pepperoni pizza was stellar. I really enjoyed their portobello mushroom, garlic and sundried tomato pizza, unique flavour with a nice pizza sauce that is not acidic, nor sweet. Really, really tasty! The atmosphere is welcoming and homey and our service was awesome for such a large grouping (20 people). The pricing everything was more than reasonable, I highly recommend if you are in the Monaca area, give Vesuvio's a visit, you won't be disappointed!

This use to be the best place for breakfast. I have no idea what has changed but it was awful today. 1. Egges were ordered over medium/well. Served runny and slimy. 2. Home fries. Served cold, greasy and. soggy. Loaded with too many onions.3. Ham. Nothing more than a slice of lunchmeat. 4. Pancake. Batter tasted like a waffle mix and was served cold. Sorry but $30 for breakfast should be alot better than what we got today!

I had the wrong impression of this place ever since moving near here two years ago. Not sure why I thought it was âjust another pizza placeâ but was I ever mistaken! Their beans and greens are perfectly balanced and cooked just right with a spicy sausage and red pepper flakes. Their pizzas are full of great flavor and the specialty dishes truly are special. Iâd go everyday (and probably could afford it due to their unbelievable prices) if I wasnât watching my waistline. Treat yourself to the best! I would have easily given it five stars if it wasnât so loud! The room needs acoustical mitigation.
