We weren't really impressed... The lasagna had more cheese than anything else. My pasta Al Forno was okay but both dishes looked like they were placed under a flame broiler for a bit too long (too many burnt edges). The place is split into two sections (north & south). We sat in the south section having asked for a more quiet area. That worked out okay as we could hear a lot of noise coming from the other section. There were numerous TV's in both areas. Thankfully without sound. The service was okay but the prices were nothing to write home about. Overall, we didn't think that it was any better than other Italian establishments we have dined at.

I thought the name of this restaurant was just a clever phrase, but it's really a warning. The love is there in the form of a wonderful wait staff, attentive without being intrusive. The salt is everywhere, even dominating the salad I ordered. My dining companion said the same thing about his entree. The servers are apparently in on the secret, as they stop by frequently to refill water glasses. Have to say, though, the ricotta pancake we shared for dessert was perfection.

Made reservations for this very busy restaurant, located less than a block from the beach. This restaurant has a large variety of pasta and seafood dishes. An extensive wine and mixed drink menu. The Manhattan Chowder was the best I've ever had. The four entrees we ordered were delicious. They were delivered quickly and piping hot. The only criticism was the bread. They can do better. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable considering the location and quality of food.

Hermosa Beach hot spot Radici has Italian roots behind itâ30 years of restaurant history and Pacentro heritage. Mother and daughter duo, Laura Francisco and Lucia Gasbarri, are the proprietors of Radici, with Gasbarri, the restaurantâs head Chef. Time hon
Great service, warm, friendly, attentive. Elegant, formal. Yet the food appears to be homestyle. Loved the beets in the salad. The Bolognese pasta was above average. Wine was reasonable priced, big glasses. The frozen cream and berries with liquor for dessert was good, although I'm not a big fan of the taste of fruit & alcohol combination, like Europeans (I think it's just a sneaky way to drink more). They brought out a fancy dipping sauce trio with EVOO, balsamic & marinara, but the bread wasn't as good as Fritto Misto or the incredible Red Wheat bread at Providence (best bread in LA).

We went here and this was a special spot. The food was delicious. Shopping at The Point is available, kids can play on the grass, & get some energy out before or after dinner. Just a great place to hang out and enjoy the outdoors.

Good old school Italian deli. Heroes remind me of some places I used to go to in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Not too many places like this out West. Recommend Chicken Parm hero.

The Bottle Inn is a neighborhood gem nestled in the residential seaside community of Hermosa Beach, just south of LAX Airport. We have been catering to our regular patrons, guests, tourists and celebrities for over 45 years. Our restaurant is known for it
Nice traditional Italian menu, including treats such as Oso Bucco and Veal Piccata, that were well prepared. Oddly, not antipasta mixed plates or Italian sparkling wines such as Moscato d' Asti were offered. Service was friendly and attentive. Place is very popular so reservations are a must. Seated in a quiet table in the more secluded el, so it was not too noisy.

The decor is "rustic", the name means "Fried things" so this ain't no fancy place, but it is the best value for American-Italian food. The portions are enough for two adults, so solo dinners will be taking home leftovers. Got the "New Mexico" pasta, but it wasn't Hatch Chiles, but red chile flakes. Together with the Chipotle sauce, it was slightly spicy, but not too much. Beers are a bargain at $3.50 each. And the homemade bread was great. Wow.
