Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Girona. One of the most historic sites in Spain, Girona lies in northeast Catalonia, just 99 km (62 mi) from Barcelona. Founded by Romans, the city later was taken over by Moors and Franks before finally falling under the rule of Barcelona. Influenced by different cultures and religions, the city beckons visitors with beautiful architecture. The Old and New Town offer many opportunities to pleasurably get lost and observe local life and culture.

Focaccias 100% homemade according to original grandma's recipe. With organic and natural ingredients, fresh from the day, the dough is crunchy and tasty. Its owners, Federica and Tony, will treat you kindly, in different languages and explain to you all the varieties available. Also, they have fresh Italian artisanal beer and many other beverages if you need.

Nice place where you can buy a very good pizza for take away. There is possibility to eat seated. No service. No WC
We have lived in Girona more than a year now and probably tried all of the italian restaurants and pizzerias in town. If you were to believe the reviews then most of them are producing "the best pizza in girona" - clearly impossible. Let me be frank - Corsaro IS making the best pizza in girona and it's as good as we have tried in the wider world too. Higly recommended for takeaway and reasonably priced.

Went past on our way back to the hotel from the centre. Unfortunately like most places it didn't start serving until after 8.30pm - however I'm glad we came back as the pizza was delicious. The staff provided us with a list of the pizzas in English, which given our poor Spanish was very helpful!

Ordered pizza for delivery from here while visiting friends, the base was really nice, toppings the right amount, not overloaded just right. We ordered a doner pizza (which I didn't really fancy) but on trying it was really nice. Highly recommend ordering here if you are in Girona.

Again, we found us in a crowded restaurant and it was a normal tuesday! We are sure that by weekend it is a must to reserve. We just wanted a pizza to end a very long typical tourist day. That's the right place. Good salads, good beer and delicious pizzas. Very fine and crunchy, the way we like it. And big!

We discovered this restaurant of recent new ownership by a Pescara family. The service is great and the food outstanding. We tried different salads (the seafood and the burrata were both magnificent) and several pizzas, both abundantes in size and ingredient and excellently prepared. Good value too. A but outside the historic center but very convenient for the new town. Thanks a lot!!
