The Pizza is good if you don't mind pre-cooked pre-packaged meats/toppings. All chain pizza restaurants use pre-cooked, pre-packaged toppings nowadays and sadly, the wings are no different. The order is generous but like most wing restaurants you pay for what you get. The wings are breaded and fried and like I said packaged. I don't know how they prepare them but my guess is that the wings go from the freezer into an oven either before or after the sauce is added. I found them to be a little tough, stringy and too salty for my taste. The wait staff was friendly and the food arrived at the table in a timely manner. There were few customers at the time so that may vary depending on how busy they are when you go. This restaurant is fairly new (a few years old) and the interior while typical fast food, is pleasant with an un-crowded feel. While most wing restaurants use pre-cooked wings, I prefer the unbreaded kind found at other chains.

This is a lovely small wine shop with delightful staff. They host wine dinners periodically and they are fantastic! I almost don't want to let this secret out, but can't help it. Jackie is a very talented chef and all the food she produces is art - lovely to look at and even better to eat.Thank you Andrea for your lovely words. We're so thrilled that you enjoyed your visit and hope that you will come back soon!

Several locals recommended that we go to Frankieâs for dinner. They were right!! The food and drink selections are excellent. The Italian dishes are very traditional and tasty. The fried calamari was very good and the garlic flat bread starter is a must! Their wine selection is good and very reasonably priced. When in Maggie Valley, Frankieâs is a great dinner restaurant choice!
First visit and I'm impressed. Chicken parm and the wife had ziti. The chicken was crisp, yet tender and held up well under sauce. Speaking of sauce, the marinara was perfect not overly herbed or sour. The cheese is high quality, and well portioned. The salads were fresh and crisp and dressing portioned perfectly. And real lettuce, not iceberg, romaine. One tiny glitch, the sodas were flat as pancakes, they changed the CO2 tank and fixed it right away so no problem there, it can happen to any restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive even with a table of nine to work on near us. The atmosphere is mellow and the entire place is very clean and well maintained. The other party was quite loud but that is just poor manners and not the fault of the restaurant. Bottom line, they will be on the rotation for us. I am anxious to try the pizza next time. I'm a tough reviewer on Italian restaurants since I used to own one, this place earned this review...

Very popular. Will take reservations. Very good service. Very clean. Downstairs and upstairs seating. Steep stairs. Great dinner side salad - fresh, housemate dressings. Everything I have ordered there was delicious an d generously sized. The garlic knots are to die for and come with meal but you may want to buy take homes. Very agreeable to customizing meal to your preferences. Not inexpensive but worth the price. One of my favorites

On our first visit to Angelo's we enjoyed both a gluten-free pizza and a regular one, both very good. The dining room was crowded at 5 pm on a Tuesday, and we had about a 15 minute wait, but it was worth it. Service is good, and they offer a menu that includes, besides pizzas, pasta and other Italian-style dishes. It obviously is a favorite spot for families as prices are reasonable. Recommended. Parking on-site is plentiful.

Absolutely love ordering from here, one of the very few places I've found with authentic New York style pizza. I agree with reviews stating to order for takeout or delivery. In restaurant experience is kind of hit or miss, wait staff is usually good. Have never had any issues when ordering for take out. Absolutely recommend.

Authentic Italian dishes and the best Italian pizza in Waynesville, NC. Classic Italian recipes, hand-made pizza using and the freshest ingredients.
Does not get the 5 for food from me, as I have had better pizza, but the calamari was excellent and our server âJoâ was the best part of our visit...attentive and interesting. When we did say the pizza was just so so she apologized and suggested we tell them to use more sauce. We would try againThank you! Please ask for extra sauce on your next visit.
