Travelling with kids can be tough, especially when picking a restaurant. This one was good for all of us. The kids enjoyed their pizza and pasta. I really enjoyed the buffalo chicken fried ravioli - very tasty! My wife loved her veggie sandwich - the best she's had in a long time.Just be careful of the meatballs - they do contain veal.

This comfortable neighborhood restaurant, located in the small Ethan Allen Shopping Center produces marvelous pies from their wood fired ovens (asparagus fig! Build your own) and a range of interesting appetizers. Desserts are equally impressive, including the night's special, an apple turnover with vanilla ice cream and chipotle infused honey. Leonardo's Pizza

The menu has everything you can imagine and more! Thin, thick, gluten-free and wheat crusts available. The topping combinations were out of this world! I could hardly pick and even considered ordering 2 nights in a row while staying at a hotel nearby for a conference. I ordered the Gouda pizza that had your basic cheese offerings, but bonus points for Gouda cheese on top. It also had onions and spicy red peppers. I got the King Arthur's Flour whole-wheat crust and it tasted amazing. A whole section of vegetarian combinations pizzas, gourmet-styled pizzas and their own fun combination pizzas. Also a diverse array of sauces other than just your standard marinara. They had garlic, pesto, bbq and more for sauces offered. I ordered online, and you were able to split pizzas (different toppings on each side) and personalize a variety of other options. The two size offerings were medium and large. I ordered a medium for myself and ate half the pizza. I also ordered a Cesar Salad which was just average, but this place is all about PIZZA, not salad... So I wasn't too disappointed. Plus, how amazing can you make a standard Cesar Salad?!? I will definitely go back again when I'm back in town. This is not just your average pizza; it's something you MUST try if you're in town and you WON'T be disappointed! I'd give this rating 10 stars if I could!

Having just returned from a five week holiday in Provence and Spain, we thought it time to revisit Sotto Enoteca. We chose this spot partly because we didn't want to be disappointed after so many wonderful recent European meals. Not only were we delighted with every facet of our long dinner, Chef Tim was kind enough to stop by and say hello. Important to note, Sotto knows the proper manner in which to cook pasta, which American chefs too often overcook. I find this absolutely imperative for one to enjoying any pasta dish. Every dish, antipasto to dessert is plated with an obvious pride of work. Burlington has many wonderful restaurants, but this might well be the single best our Queen City has to offer. Any chance Burlington might repair the seemingly endless two blocks of construction directly in front of the restaurant?Thank you so much for your generous review! We are so glad you enjoyed your dinner, and a favorable comparison to the continent (where they truly do know how to eat) is much appreciated. The construction seems to be nearing an end and we will hopefully have some outdoor seating in the not-so-distant future. Hope to see you again!Sincerely, Megan

We get to Burlington about 1x a year to visit family, and Pizzeria Verita has become a favorite. Tasty pizza and great apps, lots of local ingredients. A few segregated-oven gluten free pizza choices (and many more no-gluten-ingredient choices if you aren't celiac & don't mind your pizza cooked in the wood-fired oven that the regular pizzas use). Great drinks list and nice wine list with some hidden gems & values.Responsive service.Do reserve ahead of time *or* get there early *or* drop in and eat at the bar. Otherwise, prime time no-reservation wait for a table might be very long.Thank you so much for taking a moment to review your experiences with us at Pizzeria Verità, I'm so glad you've enjoyed them. I appreciate your highlighting our gluten-free pizza -- it's important to a lot of people and we take food sensitivities and allergies very seriously. And thank you for suggesting reservations, it's always a good idea. Hope to see you soon! Best, Leslie
