My husband and I went to Burlington ON for a drive. We parked somewhere on Brant St and walked about towards the Lakeside. We realized it was lunch time so started looking for a decent meal. We didn't have any high expectations from The Express Italian but we're pleasantly surprised. A very friendly and smiling server seated us and brought the menus. There was a lunch package for $15 which had a choice of an appetizer, a main course and tea / coffee which suited us fine. We ordered Bruschetta, Caesar salad and Pizza and Panini. We requested a bit of peperoncino oil to suit our palate. Everything was absolutely perfect & delicious. We loved our food and enjoyed the coffee with biscotti too. Definitely recommend trying.Thank you so much for the review, We appreciate the feedback and are happy that you are having a great experience.

Went for lunch the other day and we were considering Popeye's that is next door but thought lets try it.Ordered a large Canadian and it was great. The place is small with 4-5 tables and you order at the counter. The young lady on cash was very friendly and brought real plates and cutlery to the table. She came over to check how the pizza was and if we needed anything a couple of times. The pizza was done just right and had lots of real bacon and fresh mushrooms not canned ones.Definitely recommend you try it here. If you want to spend a lot for poor quality you can walk across the lot to Industria and get ripped off.

A quiet Tues night dinner with only 2 other tables. Service was ok and food was good to very good. Calamari Fritti - ok but a bit chewy. Veal with Lemon, White wine and capers was very good and presented beautifully on the plate. Spaghetti Bolognese was cooked perfectly but the sauce was all tomato and no meat.

Industria is a modern pizzeria offering a fusion of authentic and modern Italian cuisine - Sfizi Style.
Visited with my husband on a Saturday night. In-house DJ was great, and played awesome music, mixed from 90s, 00s, recent top 40 hits and house. Was not overly loud so you can also have a conversation while enjoying the beats. Arrived with no reservation and were seated immediately. Noticed a very large patio but it was a chilly night so we sat inside. Waitress attended to us right away, and was very courteous. Drinks were brought right away and she let us know a keg was being changed for his beer choice so my husband amended his drink order as he did not want foamy beer. I ordered a virgin strawberry mojito (as I am pregnant) and it was very delicious (a bit on the sweeter side). We both started with a yummy Caesar salad that came very fast, and finished off with the Carnivoro pizza. It was so so good! No complaints at all and we will definitely be back.Thank you for taking the time to leave us such an amazing review! We are so happy to hear that you and your husband enjoyed your visit with us. Looking forward to seeing you and your new addition to the family again soon! Ciao, The Industria Team

Iâm not the biggest fun of Italian restaurants as I always have a feeling I can make better pasta myself at home. Itâs different with Culaccino. Great cuisine, friendly portions, still affordable prices, neatly designed interior (circular space), kids friendly (my kid loves pasta) - all makes great weekend family dining experience. Nice place for a date or anniversary celebration too.

Son of a Peach Pizzeria is a new neighbourhood restaurant located in the heart of bustling Downtown Burlington, Ontario. Love is at the heart of everything we do; while food & art is simply, our passion. Surrounded by art & beautiful vintage, modern decor
Went here recently for the 2nd time. I really enjoy the pizza but the selection is limited. it took a long time for the pizza to arrive. its also very expensive. but I knew that before i came the 2nd time. They unfortunately stopped selling bottled root bear that my daughter loves instead sold a weird Tonic/Syrup that was nasty. please go back to the Bottled Rootbeer or she will never want to come back! lol. they were displaying and selling Doughnuts from Sunshine Doughnut Co. I assume these companies are connected. they looked great, but the Doughnuts display was covered in fruitflies/flies and it was gross!.. i dont know why they dont cover them up with a glass lid.. the waiter we had was not very attentive. it took a while to get a refill of water and our bill.. im not sure i will be coming back.. spent $80 for my family of 2 adults and 2 kids (12,10) to eat two small pizzas and some Deep fried Cauliflower (it was good) not a great value.

We have been to this restaurant many times, the latest in early May and always find the quality of the food very good and consistent. The restaurant offers many daily specialties and based on our experience you can never go wrong with them. Service is very professional and you never feel rushed. If you plan to go on a weekend book ahead of term by two weeks as it is very popular

When you see high reviews on tripadvisor, you get high expectations for food quality and you hope to find a gem that will become your go to place. Unfortunately, our opinion has diverged from the opinions expressed by the majority here. We ordered a platter for 2, their signature shrimp appetizer, escargot, raviolli, and veal. The food on the platter was bland, especially samosas and garlic bread that had no garlic on it whatsoever. Shrimp and escargot were drowned in onion. I could not appreciate these dishes because the smell and texture of onion was so overpowering. There was also some unpleasant aftertaste from sauces that they poured generously over both dishes. The problem with both main dishes was that sauces had too much salt in them. May be it was just a weird day for their chef / sous chef? It just looks very strange that our experience with food at this place is so different from what others report. In any case, we will not be returning to check this out.
